The Ray is for "budget" buyers, small speaker, bed rooms or small-medium living rooms. I have this in my own room and I'm very happy with it. Dialogue is very good and the volume doesn't go up and down especially when there's lots of music playing and then dialogue comes in. My parent's use a polk Sigma S2 for their own living room, and I have to admit...the Ray outshines it in some ways. Of course, the Polk has a sub woofer, so it obviously has that cinematic sound but when watching TV shows or dialogue heave connect, the Ray outshines it a bit. I'd also suggest this to anyone else...who's looking for the above mentioned stuff.

How clear is the dialogue?
Great great Review!!! Can you connect the Sonos Play 1 with the Ray without problems?
Thank you! Haven’t tried it yet but will soon, I expect no problems
Just added the sub mini to my ray have to say the sound is awesome my room is filled with bass so happy 👍
That’s great man, been thinking about getting it
What do you think about the performance of the Sonos Ray? Also I keep saying ''GBL'' but I mean ''JBL'' of course. 😂😅
I think for the ray sounds fantastic with the sub mini it is epic for movies and music 😀
Wow!!! The Sonos ray sound is awesome!
Indeed, way better than my more expensive JBL 3.1 set. (In my opinion)
You did not mention dialogue.
