Hi, I have been giving eggshell to my conure for a month or two. Recently I noticed eggshell bits in his poop. It means he is unable to digest it, right? Should I use anything else as a calcium source?
I wondered who had got dust all over my kitchen work tops!

Was that steam or dust coming out of the food processor when you were done crushing?
Can you boil the egg shells for 10 minutes and then dry them outside or put them in the microwave to remove the bacteria before crushing them up?

If you boil your eggs for your birdy babies can you just grind the shell after?

Use cuttlefish bones

Can I just give my bird the shell from fresh boiled eggs?
I do that. I don’t crush them. My tiny bird (chestnut munia) is able to bite off a tiny piece, small enough for him to eat.
Dude you should clean up the cages!
Even tell you what breed they are I know they are canaries mate
