    Hello, Mads! I've been seeing your videos for some time now. I like the mood of your videos, content, etc. I'm from Catalonia, but I live in Utah, another paradise, right? But I'm moving again in a few months to Gran Canaria. I lived there a long time ago. Now, I have the amazing opportunity to come back there and enjoy it with my digital camera. It was nice to watch your video yesterday evening. You captured such stunning images of this lovely landscape. You don't know how excited I am to come back to Gran Canaria, etc. If you ever come to the island, let me know, and we can shoot together... Thanks for all, and be safe! Cheers from Utah.

    • @MadsPeterIversen
      @MadsPeterIversen  5 років тому +9

      Yeah, there are several reasons why I don't post them.
      1. They take away the attention from the photo.
      2. I blend and stack and use advanced Photoshop editing to edit my photos so you wouldn't be able to gain any information from the exit data anyway.
      3. Settings are really not that important. If there is anything to be aware of I usually talk about it in the video.
      Showing the exif data of my photos is basically cheating people into thinking they can get photos like mine in one shot and that's simply not the case.

    • @MadsPeterIversen

      Try visiting Canyon X near Page, Arizona. It's part of the Antelope Canyon system, but much less well known--at least it was 2 years ago when we were there. My husband and I were the only two people on one of the morning tours. The guide let us take as much time as we wanted, which was far different than our experience a couple of years earlier when we saw Lower Antelope Canyon.

    The pictures of the blowhole are amazing. Don't you have problems with a delay in the camera between pressing the button and making the photo? When I see something happening and I press the button I am normally too late, because of the delay. What is your secret?

    I was going to write that the canyon reminds me of Antelope Canyon, except that it is small and open.

    About photographing in the canyon - it would be quite good if the girl's dress was a contrasting color to the terracotta. For example, blue...

    Looking forward to your next video Mads. I've just booked my next trip to Gran Canaria, so will be buying your map. Your Faroe Islands one was really helpful when I was there earlier in the year. El Bufadero La Garita can be very unpredictable. The first time I went there it was performing well all week and I eventually go this sunrise shot www.flickr.com/photos/cccsec/35415227416/in/dateposted-friend/. When I went back last year it was completely benigne and local kids were using it as a swimming pool. Diving in and doing stunts that made a mockery of the warning signs. One had the cheek to ask if I was going in! I politely declined:-)

      Beautiful shot and funny how it was used as a pool! I would be afraid of a current :p

      Thanks Mads. That was a week of early starts to get there in time for sunrise. Morning after morning of complete cloud cover and that shot was my last day on the island... Persistence paid off:-)

    Nice videos as always. A suggestion though, when you use your girlfriend as a model try to find some outfits appropriate like bright colors clothing to separate her from the background. i am sure it will be provide nicer photos.

    Those images would be great without some one in them I think .
