I know! This thing surprises me every time I'm editing! I can push the colors like no other camera I have owned (recent owner of the Sony a7S, Fujifilm X-H1). Dynamic range is no slouch either. I'll keep trying to get better at editing and post more vids! Thank you so much for your comment! Cheers.
I really enjoy watching your videos, yes Crop Mood is great. I love your hand held pans and zooms makes it look so real and intimate with the subject, I have the Sigma 16mm F1.4 lens, please keep posting your videos
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the feedback. Actually I do have a couple of videos showing my workflow on both the MLV app and Davinci Resolve. You can find them in my channel on my How To video playlist. But if I ever have a big change in my workflow, I'll be sure to make an update video. Thanks and have a great one!
I tested the different crop moods through and through, still have some unanswered questions. In my tests, it's still impossible to film 14bits continuous in higher resolutions. Do we have any tests with some newer SD cards anywhere? I'm still torn between 4.8K, 2.33:1, 25fps at 10bits (less crop factor) or 2.8k, 2.35:1 at 25fps at 14bits lossless…
No camera can shoot in 14-bits continuous in high resolutions (1x1, 1x3). Only 3x3 1080p can shoot continuous in 14-bits. 2.8K is the cleanest out of your options, but 4.8K can record for longer period of time. Pick your poison.
I tested Crop Mood 1:1 2.5k today :) uscaling to 4k in Davinci Resolve. It looks very good. The only thing I miss is a well working autofocus. Unfortunately it doesn't work properly, especially how the changing focus point is close to the lens.
Thank you for watching and your comment. Yes, autofocus works a bit differently than Danny's build, right?! But programing your center button to "Crop Zoom x10" will help with the focusing. It's hard to explain, you'll just have to try it yourself. Regardless, manual focusing is the best way to go.
Nice question, I haven't tested so much personally. I mainly shoot manually anyways. But I'll be sure to do some test and share my experiences. Thanks you so much for your feedback.
Yes, Sorry about that. I actually have a video talking about this issue and a work around. Too bad I didn't know about it back when I made this video. Thanks for watching and for the feedback! Cheers.
I agree, this new build is a big step forward for the EOSM community
It sure is!
Nice work bro, would you make "Crop Mood" installation video on EOS M? cant find elsewhere for the tutorial, btw awesome work as always!
Would love to get on that! Thanks for the feedback.
i am blown away by it. a 10 yr old camera just blowing away anything short of a cinema camera. just insanity

Do you keep Danne's build on another sd card?
YES! Actually I am in the middle of testing the 2 builds right now! Future vid!
What procedure did you do to install Bilal's crop mood but still use Danne's build?
what video you use in start of video ? is sigma 16mm can adapt in eos m?
All shot with the Sigma 16mm f1.4 and it's natively mounted to EOSM. Sigma does sell eOS-M mount and work with EOSM cameras. Thanks for watching.
@@jpr-tech can sony sigma 16mm can adapt in eos m?
Could i shoot in 4:3 w crop mood
Yes, you can! As a matter of fact, when I switch over to 1080P, it is automatically set to 3:2 (which is pretty much 4:3).
Hey bro, How was the AF performance?

@@jpr-tech please, so some test with af…
I think your audio appears completely out of sync, Great info on the video though.
