I live in Texas but grew up fishing below Truman when gates were running. Crappie were crazy along with stripers and hybirds 30 years ago, not so much now.
Lake Ray Roberts gave up my big crappie at almost 4 lbs. Grew up by Lake of the Pines. Love that place as well. Little River on Millwood can be a BLAST! Thank you for all the videos.
I know two people who fished Fork a few times and decided they would build a house and move to the shores of Lake Fork. Back when it first opened we use to wear the crappie out but we kept it to ourselves. The bass guys knew all about Fork but the crappie guys keep everything hush hush. If could retire anywhere in the country it would be on the shores of Lake Fork.
I like your top 3 picks. A buddy of mine went to Sam Rayburn last year and while crappie fishing caught an 11lb bass on a shinner. I live in Central Louisiana and we have many smaller lakes that have plenty of 2lb plus crappie.
Love those Arkansas lakes!! Count your blessings man!! To have been able to do what you’ve done will always be a dream for most!! And now pursuing a Bass fishing Career, I wish you all the best!! I look forward to the excitement I get from your videos!!
I haven't fished any of the other lakes you mentioned but have fished Fork totally agree Fork is the best crappie lake......Tawakoni ain't bad either for numbers...... It is HOT.... REALLY HOT
I live in East Texas less than 1 hour from both Fork and LOP. and You're right about Texas fish. They are meaner n hell. Ive had both crappie and bass damn near pull me right off the boat. :)
I live in Ne Texas and have had great luck on Cypress Springs. Its a Tri-lake including Monticello and Bob Sandlin. I have been to Lake O the Pines but not for fishing yet.
Just fished Grenada last week, wind was very high. Lake so low now that you cannot launch a boat. We fish the lake bed from ATVs. That's the only way to access water this time of year.
Love milwood!! I try n fish it once a week in the winter but another one of those lakes where u have to pick ur days wisely!! Anything over 8mph is impossible to fish. But limits of 2 plus pound fish get caught at the right time. It can be magical. 15-16lbs for best 7 is a bad day when it’s right.
Really enjoyed your video. Just bought a boat and started making UA-cam videos myself. Cool that you are here in Missouri also. I'm near KC. My buddy Ken says he's fished against you and your father Charlie. Subscribed to your channel and happy I found it.
I live in alabama ive fished wiess all my life and neely henry is my home lake for average size and #s both great places if u wanna catch hugh crappie alabama River is the place to do it in alabama its a secret to 😁 I cant say only seen Toledo bend and Santee Cooper are great crappie lakes as well My dream is to fish LOP and lake fork even more than gernada
Hey Mr. Kevin you mentioned #8 Lake Dardanelles, AR What time of the year would you suggest hitting that lake? I live about 1 hour from there. I’m adding several lakes that you suggested to my list for next year. Always enjoy your videos it’s all I watch these days. Thanks
Great video Kevin. Seeing as I fish Fork and Pines all the time, I have to agree, I drive 2-3 hours east to fish them. My first 3# came from Millwood during CAT tournament, I think you were there. Are you fishing the Mr. Crappie?
I’d give you Arkabutla (I personally have never fished it, so I can’t put it on the list) i’m sure it’s top notch. Heard amazing stories about it....., always drove past it to get to Grenada. But there’s no way in heck Sardis or Enid are in the top 10.... in my opinion.
I live 5 mins from Arkabutla. The quality of fish per average is better than Sardis and Enid. You wont catch as many but the majority of the fish you catch are tanks! I’ve caught several over 3lbs in the few years I’ve lived here. I still fish Sardis and Enid often but it’s hard when Arko is in my backyard!
@@913outdoors5 I was hoping he wouldn't mention one happened back in the eighties when Perry made infisherman magazine lake was ruined for a while with all the traffic.

Solid information added top ten to bucket list Thanks Kevin
Kevin,
First time I fished fork was in 86. Great Fishery back then for Crappie. 86 and 87 spring break....
Millwood and the pines! I’m almost right between the two. Enjoy your channel
No better place to be!
I haven't fished any of the other lakes you mentioned but have fished Fork totally agree Fork is the best crappie lake......Tawakoni ain't bad either for numbers...... It is HOT.... REALLY HOT
Lake Fork! It's why I moved here from Oklahoma. I fished Eufaula and Oologah for years.
Kevin has a lot of energy!!!! Good video, Saline/Larto in East Central Louisiana, hidden jewel 😊
Love your Videos Dude !! ! You are down to earth and real.
Thank you.

Kevin I remember when you were way younger giving seminars with your dad as your fishing buddy. Great stuff
Great times!

I fish Palestine , Fork & Pines are within a 1hr so Im blessed.
Nice!!!
Top three in north east Texas fork, pines & Palestine.
I would probably add one more Texas lake to that list, Cedar Creek Reservoir. 2-3 lbers all over the place.
Since you are on your own now I would like to know what bait you use now.
I have my own line of baits through Jenko Fishing

Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees - NE Oklahoma
What about Sardis, Enid, and Arkabutla in Mississippi those are some good lakes also!!

Lake Weiss Al
Santee cooper is pretty good for the south
The way you fish you would crush santee
The Rez got no love? I’ll admit she can be tough but when it’s good it’s 16-18# everytime
Windy!!!
Fork is great but if you in Oklahoma holler at me we'll go to Ft Gibson
I’ve won two tournaments at Gibson.
@@kevinrogersfishing752 they are schooled up in the river
lake wohlford in ca is the best lake in my opinion its better than clear lake
Love to give it a try!
Wright Patman is way better than Millwood
I have heard that, only bass fished Wright Patman. Sounds like Millwood is having a down year for sure....
Not a Kansas in top 10🤦 Should have just gave it honorable mention lol.
He said eldorado
