@@robertbeyers1308 I spent time out in the manufactuing sector before I moved back home, when I moved home, I needed a change of pace and learned my local high school was hiring custodians (we are not janitors :P) so I jumped on it and it's been the best thing to ever happen in my life, and our building is almost 60ish years old, so it's a neat one.

It was as if they knew it was your last day so I guess all I can say is it was your official send off (unbeknownst to me at the time) What an alarmingly awesome and amazing day it’s been. Ya know bud, seeing this and seeing you through the videos i have. Reminds me a lot of myself and my own journey I had through high school. I was that lucky student who was brought on as an IT Apprentice when I was a freshman and worked my way up through the ladder to a IT Help Desk Tech when i graduated. I had the ability, the know how and the rights to make changes to the network and implemented lots of changes to the systems while I was a student. I still am great friends with the Network Specialist that gave me that whole opportunity. Now I'm a Systems Engineer and Heck, now I teach him things haha. Congratulations on graduating, finishing high school can be a real mind fluff, would I go back and do it again? Hell no. But it’s also a big chapter of your life coming to an end. Last fall I went back to my high school for my ten year reunion. The building was brand new when I started the 9th Grade back in 2009, my class was the first to go through all four years in it. It’s hard to believe it’s been eleven years since 2013, kind of feel like it’s my building, sedimentary.

I remember when i graduated in 2008 i got hired by the tech department worked that job from 2009-2017. Sadly i had to leave that job due to my Mom's health going into a decline sadly she died in 2022. Shortly after leaving that job we moved from Michigan to Florida.
I don't actually have much extra time I have very little free time to myself after running a UA-cam channel and going to school and work. I think it's unfair to expect me to cover the cost for a panel swap for a house that I don't own when I'm still in school. I'm sorry for your loss.

Hi Nic got a question maybe you can answer as you probably know I think anti freeze I think has been frowned upon in new installations and I think they instead ask for dry pipe for freeze protection I have herd of fire hose being attached to sprinkler systems so is it theoretically possible that a fire hose could be attached to a dry pipe sprinkler ? thoughts?
Not sure if I've ever seen or heard of antifreeze in sprinkler systems I would think it would have to have separate backflow prevention and check valves to prevent it from moving through the system. I've only ever seen dry systems which I've never seen a standpipe connection part of but I'm not a sprinkler fitter so I don't know if it exists or not.
If you have not seen it I think one possibility is because if they do use NFPA in Canada which I cant be sure I think anti freeze fire sprinkler is frowned upon in new construction and they instead prefer dry pipe than you dont need chemicals I think they were worried about the chemicals could eventually harm water supply but as I said I am sure your great at all the things you are able to do !!!
There used to be three of them in each stairwell it was extremely excessively loud to the point it was causing people to temporarily have damaged hearing and was painful. So they have all been removed which is legal as they are not required in stairwells to begin with. Stairwells are a means of egress and not an occupied space of the building.

Yes I've still been in school and I am getting hours for my apprenticeship for electrical. It's not something the school district does as they do not hire apprentices or offer apprenticeships but just something that worked out for me after getting to know the electrical department.

I don't really see the point of a scheduled fire drill. What does knowing it's coming accomplish? Just my opinion here but the way you are going to react if you know it's coming is going to be way different than the way you respond to a true emergency. I mean it's not like that fire is going to tell you "by the way I'm going to burn the cafeteria at noon" you need to make sure students and staff know how to react at a moment's notice with no warning. The truth is life and safety could depend upon their reaction

Think about when I was in school when the fire alarms went off. we thought it was a fire drill, but it turned out to be an actual fire in one of our boys' bathrooms, and everyone was talking about it throughout the day after that incident.

I don't really see the point of a scheduled fire drill. What does knowing it's coming accomplish? Just my opinion here but the way you are going to react if you know it's coming is going to be way different than the way you respond to a true emergency. I mean it's not like that fire is going to tell you "by the way I'm going to burn the cafeteria at noon" you need to make sure students and staff know how to react at a moment's notice with no warning. The truth is life and safety could depend upon their reaction
Well, if nobody knows that it's a drill, people might think that it is real and start running out of the building and panicking

@@EpickGamer6920to be fair, they don’t want people running and panicking in a real fire. people get out safer and faster when they have an exit plan, even if they aren’t anticipating having to use it.
Think about when I was in school when the fire alarms went off. we thought it was a fire drill, but it turned out to be an actual fire in one of our boys' bathrooms, and everyone was talking about it throughout the day after that incident.
