Bullet.catcher, me and my buddy were going to fish that area yesterday, bit a flat on my trailer hosed us and we only got to night fish in one of the west bay night spots. What year outback?
Enjoy the videos, looks like a good mix of fish in that marsh. I caught your videos a few weeks ago. I'm up in NJ one hour from the Raritan bay. Never fished the salt yet out of the kayak. I see you give information pretty freely which is very cool of you. What is that landing net that you are using. I'm looking for a similar one for catch and release (rubberized is preferred) One thing I learned in the kayak really quick is that hooksets and fighting fish is a little weak just because your so low to the water. Nothing better than yak fishing though. Kayaking to a spot and then wading might beat it. Were all thinking of you guys in Texas.
Thanks for the support! I use the Frabill rubberized kayak net. It closely resembles a trout net that's easy on the fish. I din't think they sell them anymore. If you can find one in the store you might want to get it. This is what they make now. amzn.to/2gPNYLP
Really interesting video, as I would have thought the water was still un-fishable! Ya'll got to relax and play those big boys out a little more if you want to "invite" them for dinner! Nothing worst than an antsy guest that wants OUT! LOL ~Tight Lines~
You're completely right, I'm sure he died hours later. My dilemma was keeping an undersized trout and taking a chance on being fined by the Game warden. So I made the decision to do the legal thing and put him back for the crabs it's a crappy situation altogether.
Another cool video thanks and have a good day and stay safe
Thanks for watching buddy!
new to kayaking. Where did you launch if I may ask?
Another great video sir. Sorry to hear about your brothers home. Glad he and your loved ones are okay.
Thanks a lot, we are ok.
What line you using? Great 👍🏼 video except Flounder who got away😩

The water still doesn't have enough salt. This was a very long day of grinding each hour out. Yeah I made a rookie mistake trying to net that big guy.
I really enjoy your videos, but you really should have kept that trout that was bleeding so badly. He almost certainly didn't survive (IMHO).

Ah, I didn't realize TX had a minimum size limit. You did the right thing, then.
Nice fishing, subscribed, did you head into cold pass or tit tat bayou?
Cold pass.
