Dhrupad is one of the most ancient musical form in India, whose roots are traced back to the 2000 year - old tradition of chanting hymns from the Vedas. The Gundecha brothers are two of the greatest younger generation exponents of this ancient art. It has a deeply meditative quality and one’s appreciation of this wonderful music form will be rewarded if the listener gives it the time it deserves.
