  • Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater says the Labor party members deriding nuclear power are “making idiots of themselves”.
Agriculture Minister Murray Watt has released a statement outlining his concern on the impact of nuclear power on farmers.
“This whole thing is a fantasy,” Mr Cater told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“The public are cleverer than this.
“They are treating the general voting population like mugs.
“People like Murray Watts and Chris Bowen are just making idiots of themselves.”

Labor are very adept of making idiots of themselves, it is one of their core strenghts. Bowen is the ultimate, his CV is full to the brim of failure after failure, truly impressive.

Couldn’t agree more. We are being run by a pack of total idiots…… but Bowen has failed in every portfolio he has ever had.

What real qualifications does Bowen have ? His record in politics is simply atrocious. His only ability seems to be churning out ridiculous speeches on topics he clearly knows nothing about, all done with a smug grin.

Who writes Chris Bowen's speeches as this one was way above his intellect and the writer has proven facts wrong. "Reliable renewable or risky reactors".

    • @aeroearth
      @aeroearth Місяць тому

      "Reliable renewable"
Fortunately the sun always shines 24/7 and clouds have now been banned.
Oh and the wind always blows and calm days have been cancelled.
As for NUCLEAR POWER BEING "risky reactors", with a current uptime of 97% working 24/7 it seems Comrade christopher bowen would be well advised to read the Oxford Dictionary's definitions of "reliable" and "risky".
One has to wonder how the French put up with nuclear reactors generating 68% of their national electrcicty requirements if they are deemed "risky" Maybe all French people glow in the dark, but having been there a few times I didn't notice that.
Or of course, Comrade chistopher bowen could be lying - again.

I wonder how much of the electricity produced from Hydrogen is needed in the process to get Hydrogen

    • @davefoord1259
      @davefoord1259 Місяць тому

Hydrogen doesnt generate electricity, its just a way of storing it. The efficiency ie electricity you get back vs the electricity you put in is quite low. Around 40 to 60%, So you have to have cheap electricity in the first place

In the political arena, voices rise,
With nuclear power under scrutiny's eyes,
    Labor's stance, a firm rebuke,
Yet some believe it's ill-conceived fluke.
Nick Cater speaks with sharp critique,
On members' views, he grows antique,
"Making idiots of themselves," he cries,
    As nuclear potential they despise.
    Murray Watt, with farmers' plea,
Fears nuclear's touch on land so free,
"The impact vast, the harm too great,"
His words pour forth, a worried state.
    Yet Cater sees a fantasy,
A tale spun out for all to see,
"The public wise, not easily fooled,
By fears and myths, so broadly tooled."
He speaks to Danica, host astute,
    Of voting masses, resolute,
"To treat them as fools, a great mistake,
Their clever minds can see the fake."
In this debate, the stakes are high,
As futures dim or light the sky,
Chris Bowen joins the cautious choir,
    In Cater's view, they misfire.
For in the balance of power's scale,
    Nuclear's promise, some hail,
A cleaner path, a brighter dawn,
Yet Labor's fears keep hopes withdrawn.
The discourse heats, the rhetoric flies,
With truths and fears, with lows and highs,
May wisdom guide the nation's choice,
And reasoned talk replace the noise.
For in the end, the goal remains,
To power homes, to break the chains,
    With clarity and insight sound,
To find the path where light is found.

Labor would sell an Australian orange for $1 overseas. Let them manufacture the orange into quarters and buy each quarter back for $1 each and sell them to Australians for $2 each. A $1 orange now costs australians $8. Exactly the same thing his happening with our Gold, Coal, Lithium, Copper to support renewable energy here. We're going into recession and poverty to support other foreign economies. Oh don't forget the slave labor we're supporting to cut those oranges into quarters. A Superannuation and death Tax should fix it all right? To all politicians, Get out of bed each morning and put Australia and Australian's FIRST! Thats your 'only' job we pay you for!
