This scene is so powerful. The father’s emotions, Billy’s anticipation, and the adoring look on Michael’s face, waiting for his childhood friend/crush to enter the stage is priceless. I love this film.
I’ve never been much interested in ballet but Adam Cooper’s leap is possibly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I watch it often just for the sheer joy of seeing it again. A magnificent piece of cinematic art

Also the scene when the father realizes that his son has talent and runs to the teacher´s house to ask her how many cost to let him go to the dance school in London. Beautiful and so emotional. And when Billy receives the letter from the dance school and his father, his brother and his grand mother are waiting for his reaction. So so nice!!!!!!!!
I wish they would make the final scene a bit longer, i feel a bit disappointed although it's my favourite part. Njust so mesmerising to watch. Love his father's face and how proud he is and what they as a family went through to get him where he is. Just such a wonderful film to watch.❤❤❤

I've been lucky enough to see quite a few ballets. Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake was the best one I've been to. It was phenomenal
