- In this lesson, you will learn what density is and that is calculated by dividing the mass of a substance by its volume. It is a comparison of the size of an object to its mass. Density is used in chemistry and physics in many calculations and for many purposes. For example, the density of a substance is used when calculating molar concentration of solutions in chemistry. We will learn to calculate density and solve density problems.

I am 72 years old , probably with a age related shrunken brain, but I have finally gotten a conceptional understanding of density . Jason you have a special gift. Go raibh maith agat.
One of the greatest Professor I come across on UA-cam explaining so clearly and very passionate about teaching this subject trying to help others make it easier for us to understand .
Jason is tops as a maths and science tutor...
Very clear indeed.
Love your vids!! 👍👍 I just got my 1 kg spherical ball of 99.9 % pure Magnesium. It has a density of 1.81 g/cm cubed and measures 10.20 cm. 😊
Great presentation.
Love your videos .
You make math n science easy to understand.
Hope my comment encourages to make many more .
Thankfully dear teacher keep going 💕
He had a very nice explanation I like the way he teaches
Thank you so much incredible teach!!!
Thanks for posting
You are a great teacher!!!!
Outstanding
thank you. just done the sums before you explained them and got them right. And my understanding of density is so much clearer.
If I had this person as a teacher I would have had a better life
Thank you sir
Thank you so much
thank you you helped me you explain so well i whish you were my teacher
Love this, thank you so much
You are so welcome!
Michael Hinton and Aaron Massari both gave me umbrellas.
Thanks I got full exam because of you first I don't even understand about density and I got full thanks
You're good

I understand this better.
Nice 👍
D = g/L if I remember correctly
Should I do chemistry or chemical engineering is a life long question moving forward.
That is a good lesson . I like density
How can I contact you privately
Density is the mass per unit volume
thank you so much sir! para sa isat!
I think hard substances like diomond have higher density.

The volume of a cube was a doozy for some of my students.
