- Why play Guild Wars 2 PvP in 2025? Because chaos reigns eternal; and participating in the sigma male grindset for GLORY and GOLD is life.

shits too well eddited to end up buried in the algorythm.
@captaincrapface7337 such is yt life unfortunately
Just started GW2. I was hesitant to PvP but man it turned out to be very fun.
Very much in love with my hammer guardian going in and dropping Ring of Warding in the middle of a mass fight.
glad to hear it!
Great video honestly. Good voice over, very easy to understand explanation of what PVP is for absolute beginners, good clips, some fun cut aways to other media. Hopefully this gets some new players into it! Subbed and GGzzzzzzzzz
I've been a very sporadic on and off player for GW2 since it launched , and pretty much 99% of my playtime in the game is strictly SPvP. All these years later and I still get the occasionall itch to go back and play some GW2 PvP because it honestly is one of the best in the genre. It's so easy to get into (no gear grind) so even when I take breaks from the game for years at a time I can come back and get right into the action. The semi-action based combat also makes it alot more fun than most of the other MMO's on the market.
@@Rakoah totally agree
I really wish they tried to do a better marketing campaign to get more players into this game.
The only mmo's I've ever played are GW1, GW2, and FFXIV and let me tell you GW2 pvp felt like some of the most rewarding by miles I remember back in the day playing it purely just for the rewards but I eventually came around to realize it was quite fun as well one of the few pvp experiences where I didn't care that I died or even that I lost or was bad hell half the time I spent in pvp I remember playing Thief and Necro just using every ability possible to avoid death and waste the enemies cooldowns and make myself the most annoying target ever I got quite a lot of wins by shifting my focus from "I want to do the most damage or get the most kills" to "How can I make myself the most unkillable most slippery bastard possible?"
My doomerism vanished with this video, ty
and it's pretty well edited!
After watching this video, I have decided to play GW2 PVP
Nice video! Funny, light hearted and makes me want to play the game. Keep it going. 🙂
“In the end the winner is still the last man standing.”
I’m a chat pvper only
THANK YOU.
@@NefariousTV you're welcome!
9:00 honestly, I’m really glad you can queue for pfp in the open world because of how crazy the lobby is
2025 is the year of gw2 pvp revival 🗣️🗣️
4:24 This was actually one of the things that made me stick with PVP. At the time I was a little sick of the main story and how the pact commander acted.
Then I went into PVP with my warrior who's a world renowned hero according to the game's story.
Then I leapt towards this one asura, shield bashed him in the ass and ground slammed him down a pile of stairs.
Holy shit it felt nice to just be mean/the bad guy for once! :D
awesome vid
Funniest gw2 video 2025
thank you sir
I'm sharing this with every one of my medically autistic friends.
@@Leulogy thank you
Actually an amazing video deserves more views Jason strife level this
@@ghost72757 very generous praise thank you
I am one of those Brazilians.

Oh yes. the dopamine hits of reward tracks. Curse them
Amazing game mode, despite balance and reward. If I could (I like shiny stuff, so, I'm driving my soul to a second burnout on pve grinding) I would only do pvp or wvw (mosty, with guild). To avoid the burnout, maybe I shoud stop with pve stuff...
Played 5 Games, lost 5 Games without any fun. Dont know what I am doing wrong
@Chan-ch4cm way it goes sometimes unfortunately
GW2 PvP has a steep learning curve. I don't think it's fun unless you are willing to watch and read some guides. Then it starts to be fun. It's also good to focus on enjoying the fights, rather than losing or winning a match. Some of the matches I had the most fun in were losses.
As a veteran, the gamemode doesnt have enough players so you ll be matching against us and getting stomped.
When I first started the only question I had was, will it be fun WHEN I get good at PvP? And then went into the pains of learning and it is fun when you get better at it but also painful getting there.
@OatyOnline Thats true, started to read more into PVP which lead me to getting more wins and having more fun.
@@ThiVasss Yeah there are a lot of things you can Master but understanding what you are trying to improve. Makes the learning and even losing more fun. Befor that I just lost without understanding what I did wrong.

The combat mechanics are fun. The balance is mismanaged. The community is unmoderrated and filled with cheaters and some of the worst of humanity including a few active criminals of the sort that inmates would be disgusted by. I wouldnt really recommend guild wars 2 pvp or wvw to anyone. Pve can be something fun to do really casually on the side. Like you have no plans whatsoever.
no offense but this is not true. I play GW2 since release and still play other games for PVP (Warhammer Online, Dark Age of Camelot) und GW2 is not even close to reach the kings of PVP mmorpg wise. Its fun but its not even as good as in the first GW
yeh had a look only 2k on.....mmmm doubt it
GW2's PvP is the worst adaptation of DAOC's RvRvR PvP. I dont even like ESO, but can admit that ESO is the the closest we've have ever seen to the best PvP experience of DAOC's PvP when it had the population to maintain the constant fun. Kind of disgusted that anyone would even say PvP and GW2 in a positive light, it's just bad. (Also UA-cam, dont recommend this kind of content in the future.)
@AurjayGames sorry you feel that way, but to each their own bud.
@@imjustkentaro You've reached the DOAC boomers. They are a rare breed of e-boomers who always seem to find a way to spin the conversation back to their favourite game that nobody ever mentioned lol
@@homage3 To be honest, my favorite MMORPG is Final Fantasy XIV. But you can say that if you want, because in most cases you're troll comment would be correct. But the boomer bs is so overplayed. I'd dare to say there are more 30s & 40s gamers than there are little kiddos gaming anymore. I wont accept the boomer label until my kids start having kids of their own, now get off my lawn.
Are you talking about WvW? Because we are mostly talking about spvp here. And mechanically gw2 is easily one of the best mmos for structured pvp period.
@ThiVass I get that people are entitled to their opinions, I just strongly disagree and feel it's even up there with being factually incorrect of an opinion. I dont even hate the IP at all, I just completely hate that game's pvp options, and the base game's pve final boss fight (I'll admit that the expansions got better.)
