    Not one of your better reviews. I want a hearing aid with disposable batteries because it keeps me in control of being able to replace the batteries. Rechargeable batteries need to be replaced by the manufacturer / service provider and if you're hearing aids are out of warranty which can be as little as one year, then your $1,000 hearing aids are basically disposable. You did not mention if the app is iOS or Android friendly. Thank you for making these videos. I do appreciate your opinion.

    How do they compare to Lexie B2?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  5 місяців тому

      Hi! This is some information I got from HearingTracker.com "B2 Plus is rechargeable and has up to 18 hours of battery life, while the B1 uses a size 312 battery that should last 5-7 days, both depending on your hearing aid settings and use. The B2 Plus streams iPhone and Android phone calls directly to the hearing aids, while the B1 does not stream audio". Hope this helps!

    Not impressed with this review just the negatives. As a reverse sloper and having dealt with 4 audiologists with no success. In fact in every case my hearing was worse with hearing aids I would be happy to try these and adjust my own settings.

    My experience with Lexie Lumen hearing aids is less than stellar. They no longer work and I am still paying for them! #1 - yes it links to my phone but the functionality is cumbersome and pointless. You can adjust the volume and adjust for the type of environment - loud room, quiet setting, etc. but to do that you have to pull up your phone, access the app and then change the setting. Most of the time the changes in the atmosphere - walking into louder places, etc. happened too quickly for thie app to be useful. Instead I either pulled the hearing aids out of my ears or manually turned down the volume using the controls on the hearing aids. For the most part they are comfortable and the tools you get with the kit are helpful to choose the right tube length and gauge of the part that goes in your ear. The kit that they send you each quarter or so is pretty useless and I tried to get them to stop but that was impossible. That brings me to their website and app. I had to cancel the card I was using to pay for the hearing aids and when I tried to change my payment method I couldn't find a way to access my account online. the only way to do it is to use their cumbersome app! After about a week of trying I ended up deleting the app in disgust only to have to reinstall it the next day. The app didn't remember who I was or my login information so I had to set it up from scratch. I wasn't able to get past the request to calibrate the hearing aids (which no longer worked) soI wasn able to access the billing page. I ended up calling them after finding their number and was told by the rep that they couldn't update my billing ifnormation. I would have to call back on a week day. The next monday, I called while at work and was on hold for 35 minutes. My lunch was over so I had to hang up! One more thing. No where was I able to view my account balance. I still have no idea how much I have paid to Lexie and how much I still owe. I strongly suggest you investigate Lexie to see if this is actually your best choice for hearing aids. I found them to be more trouble than they are worth. Oh, by the way, the hearing aids stopped working because they were exposed to the steam from my shower. I took them off, placed them on the counter by the sink, took a shower in my small bathroom and after that they stopped working. I tried to get them replaced but water damage excludes them from replacement.👿

      There is a serious learning curve to hearing aids. Everything that you mentioned can happen with any brand of hearing aid at much higher price points. Now that you have come this far in the School of Hard Knocks, I hope you will persevere because addressing your hearing loss is the only way to stay relevant with your family friends and career. Hang in there! Best wishes
