I saw one of them tik tok vids of her calling a guy, “misogynistic” for saying that you can tell how crazy a guy by just looking at his choice in women. Should I really feel sorry for a women who claims to be so oppressed despite married to a guy who is way better looking than her, and also owns a business which makes him rich? @@Love-sg5pp I would be wary of comparing Drew to someone who has sex trafficking, sexual assault, and abuse allegations against him. He has also admitted that fleeing to Romania was just easier than dealing with the charges. Drew has had no such allegations.
In this comment you also just valued Drew at her appearance. It does not matter who in a marriage you find more conventionally attractive. I'm saying that she is pointing things out that some people don't want to hear. I don't agree with every single thing she says and how she goes about certain situations, but that doesn't mean she doesn't face discrimination. I mean, you yourself just chose to put her value in her appearance which, whether you like it or not, is a form of oppression/discrimination.
The last thing I want to mention is that I'm not asking you to feel sorry for Drew. I'm asking you to have empathy and try to understand what she goes through on the daily. That does not mean pity her, that means having a bit of perspective and "walking a mile in someone else's shoes."

@@lucyyagodich4129 You missing the point, Drew and Tate act exactly the same on social media, what they do behind close doors is something different. I’m not a Tate fan, and Im well aware that Tate is worst than Drew, BUT I see the similarities of how both of them behave very similar on social media. One is misogynistic, and the other one is a misandrist.
Also, what are you even talking about?? calling her, “average looking” is not a form of oppression 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. NOT every girl can be a perfect 10/10, and NOT every man can also be a perfect 10/10 also. There is nothing WRONG with being average looking so pls stop trying to act as if calling her, “average looking” is a bad thing when literally 80% of the world population fall under the average category. You really are one of those women who would call anything, “misogyny, oppression, or discrimination” just like Drew 😭😭🤚🏽. See what you just did? This is why the majority of men do not like Drew and her fans.
In fact, I noticed that The majority of men do not like what Drew says on social media and the majority of women do not like what Andrew Tate says on social media, bc they are BOTH sexist.
And no, I’m not gonna feel sorry for a women who says she is so oppressed, while living inside a mansion, wearing expensive clothes, and married to a good looking rich guy 🤡. Wonder how women would react if Tate said he’s oppressed bc of his skin color?

She's just the embodiment of "if you wouldn't like it said to you, don't say it someone else." I'm sorry, but whoever said "you can't fight fire, with more fire," was too much of a pacifist, who never got bullied or ridiculed. These people, often gross, mysogntic men go online and harass women they both find attractive, and the ones they don't. They also bully men that try to defend women. They make this entire persona of being an asshole, who think that women shouldn't be able to vote, or justify why men are superior, and that's why men should be able to cheat and be abusive, and women should just submit and be grateful that someone deems them as "fuckable." Drew never goes after them, or anyone, without a reason. People love to think that once you login to a social media account, they get a few pass to bully without consequences. She generated a mass following so quickly for a reason. Sometimes people don't deserve to be treated with kindness from a "bigger person." They need an ass whooping. They need to be told that they're not shit. Social media allows anyone to voice an opinion, and a lot of people do not deserve that voice, for they just use it to abuse. Instead of reflecting, they always go to the go to of "well of course you 'won,' you have more followers." Instead of thinking, "hm, maybe I don't have a larger following because I'm an unfunny, cliche asshole," they just start insulting her and her followers more. They want everyone else to take the high road. They literally want to "debate" why their thinkings of misogyny are right. Good for her for making money and a name for herself off of the hate that's so abundant in this world. I'm tired of the likes of Andrew Tate, the Paul Brothers, and all of the other plain, insulting men that have nothing else to offer but hate and bigotry get famous. It's about time us ladies got someone to be expressive about the disgusting nature that a lot of young men are proud to be apart of.

    Here's my take on this;
Some men constantly hate how women look, even using the term "All women are ____" or "All women look like _____," so why is it so wrong when Drew says all misogynists look a certain way. She isn't bringing up all men, just those who're misogynists. If they can dish it out, they should be able to take it. She's simply doing what those men are doing to women. The only reason people have a problem with it is that a woman should be "kind" and "nice" when being critiqued, which she isn't doing.
We need to push past the idea that women need to be kind to people who're being assholes to them.

I just turned 17 years old (so I'm still technically a kid) and I have faced countless times where men that are my own age say horrible misogynistic things to me. They are completely aware that they are hurtful things to say, and It doesn't take being above the age of 18 to realize that. To bring up the fact that drew is much older and "attacking" these "kids", they were calling her vile and disgusting names, on the internet. The internet is a free range where people can say whatever they want, so why can't she? She is allowed to stand up for herself and use their method of insulting AGAINST them. If they did not want that criticism and taste of their own medicine, they simply should have not posted that in the first place. You're the type of person who has the "I can fix you" mentality, Which is a problem that we don't tell enough men and women when they get into a relationship you can't fix that person they need to work on themselves, Is you try to fix that person, they will only end up hurting you.If you want men who actually care then try surrounding yourself with good people, but you need to make sure that you work on yourself before you look for those people because you may not be ready, and that's all right.

  • @samaf
    @samaf Рік тому +46

Hey Coop, I really liked this video! I also think one could make the argument that her focus on "short" and "balding" doesn't really stem from a personal opinion of those characteristics, but moreso come into play because they are "obvious" targets--in the sense that they are things men are known to be commonly insecure about. Kind of like when men call a woman fat or ugly after getting rejected. It doesn't matter if she is or not, and it doesn't matter whether the man dislikes her "fatness" or "ugliness" or not. It's just something they say because they know it probably hits them in a place that hurts. I always interpreted those jokes as another method of giving them a dose of their own medicine. The dynamic it drives home for me is that she just completely ignored everything they said and boiled them down to "bald" or "short"--perceived flaws in their physical appearance, which should have no relevance. This feels very reminiscent of: woman produces content -> man doesn't like it -> man is more likely to express disapproval by publicly attacking her physical appearance and only her physical appearance than I presume he would be if he were responding to a male creator. By attacking physical appearance instead of leaving it as strictly a response to their argument/stance, she objectifies them in the same way. Disclaimer: I haven't seen many of her videos, so this may be off-base because I'm lacking a lot of context, it is just another interpretation that came to mind when I saw this video. Great video!

One thing I'll say about the "bald, short" or whatever other "non-conventionally" attractive characteristics is that i often recognize that people, especially this type of men, who are spreading this hate are insecure about themselves and/or just want to put other people down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with short or bald men, in fact a LOT of short and or bald men are conventionally attractive (bruno mars is gorgeous and is only like 5'6 i think, Jason Statham is bald and very attractive, and yall can't tell me that Danny Davito isnt a national treasure who is a beloved, short, bald king.) The "problem" with these characteristics is that they might be insecure about it, so when it gets pointed out on THEM it hurts them, but for regular, non-horrible, misogynistic, abusive people, its a perfectly fine quality.
So when Drew and other people call them out/ give them a taste of their own medicine, its not a "oh we can all play the bullying game" but more of a "heres what you sound like when you do it to other people. Does it hurt your feelings? Well, maybe you should stop doing it to all these other people."
Also (sorry this is so long) but Drew (i assume) is really intelligent. And on the other side these awful people aren't ignorant, nor have they demonstrated that they deserve grace..... like at all. So Drew isn't gonna sit there and baby them and explain what they said was wrong and why. Theres NO CHANCE these people dont know that it's wrong, and clearly they only listen to when she shuts them down. Lets stop acting like shes the problem and start supporting the fact that shes not afraid to stand up to them, and for others. (Especially since yall KNOW people literally get doxxed and death threats over 1 person not getting their way, so lets be fr and recognize the REAL problem, and that shutting her down is NOT the solution.)

Making men feel bad about not hitting standards the patriarchy set for them MIGHT ultimately re-inforce the patriarchy instead of attacking it.

Very often it becomes very harmful and women lose their reputation, jobs and lives because of that. Physical abuse, sexual assaults, violence, kidnappings and murders. All for being told "you asked for it" afterwards. And all kinds of abuse towards women were happening since the beginning of the time, it was even worse back than and it became better because women fought for it, not because males suddenly became decent human beings. And now they cry because someone on the internet called them bold. She’s implying (and I believe she’s 100% correct) that misogynists tend to have things about their own appearances that they dislike, and so they lash out at women because of it. And not all women are innocent either. A lot of women are cruel because of a man’s height, or if they’re bald. So these men who have most likely been rejected in the past, are now hateful of women, and lashing out at women and attacking their appearances.
Again, she NEVER said that all bald or short men are misogynist. And she’s still a reactionist. She’s not going to lash out or attack a man who is being perfectly kind and peaceful. Fight fire with fire. If a man wants to run his mouth about how a woman looks, and has his own glaringly obvious physical flaws, he better be ready for the criticism that will come.

Drew is lashing out on men, white men more ofc, calling them "COCKROACHES AKA WHITE MEN". Imagine saying that to a black male or a jew? The truth is, she is a hateful person, and you like her. In short, you like hatred and you like racists and misandrists!

Drew doesn't OWE anyone taking the high ground or being flawlessly accurate in her representation of the people literally harassing her though. Besides I feel like it is just using patriarchy beauty standards for men to insult them, when they are harassing her. Short fat kings can be attractive people and partners, and conventionally attractive men can be unappealing. To put it their way: in his heart, his hairline is behind his ears. It's not the hairline on your head that matters but the hairline in your heart. So stupid but so is bullying women for existing in a corporeal form you happen to not want to fuck.

Being the bigger person or a pacifist is a luxury only a privileged person or an oppressor can afford. You're either not affected by the attacks taking place or you can afford to take a hit or two.
Drew goes after POS men who have invested energy in attacking a group of people or a singular victim. Why should she be the one to take responsibility for keeping a respectful tone?
I've had men threatening me with violence for absolutely no reason and if you tell me I would be mean if I tell them to f off, then you probably have had a really nice life. Sometimes the only thing these guys will understand is fighting fire with fire. Have I threatened to beat up an old man cause he was yelling at me in the street? Yes. Did he back off and never bother me again? Absolutely. Stay safe ya'll!

I don't understand how so many people here are comfortable with body shaming? I am not saying you shouldn't be mean to awful fucking people, but thinking you are actually okay to act literally exactly like the type of person you despise isn't really mature at all, aren't we all agreeing that we know we are better than those awful people, why are we going low on their niveau, and literally knowing this will not change their opinion. No one is obligated to be the one that changes a misogynist, to have discussions with them THAT I think is a privilege that many think is owed to them. Still don't believe its fucking okay to bodyshame people, very similar to when people only use the correct pronouns for people that are good in their eyes, its like you have to earn to have BASIC HUMAN RESPECT, it just shows your true side.

when i was a teenager my friends and i would use the 'f' slur all the time. not in any context directed specifically towards gay people or even using it as an insult in reference to gay people in general. to us it was just a funny sounding curse words that we would use amongst each other.
however i'm currently 29, in 3 months i'll be 30 and it's been YEARS since I've used that word. Times change, people grow up and learn and change along with the times. It's not even comparable to someone who's currently engaging in that sort of behavior regardless of their age. When I was a teenager it was a different world and that word wasn't seen anywhere near as offensive as it is now and most teenagers are old enough to know better.

Conflicting feelings. On one hand im like " ya match there energy." Then in the other hand, im think, " to match their stupid energy makes you just as stupid, attack them with logic. that way there can be a discussion and potental room for growth."
Ive seen her videos, but i cant get behind her due to the fact that shes not getting anywhere with her combacks, that her " critiques" are just bullying them right back, and then thinking shes better because shes not on their side while doing the same thing their doing. ( the men she talks about are massaginistic, so they do deserve it. )But... then it makes her look just as bad in the way shes comming back at them.
If andrew tate came up to me and said " women are stupid." Id say " you know whats actually stupid is sex trafficking women." That being factual wouldn't leave much room for a rebuttal.
However, if i come back with " well your bald." Though he may deserve it, it wouldn't get anyone anywhere.
she has a holyer than thou comlex as well, or at least thats what it comes off like ( which in some cases good on her, but then on the other had it just comes off as cocky a as an annoying personality type.)
Also the statment she made about the other women stealing her jokes, she may have a point. like the men could have found the other woman more attractive, and it makes sence why she might feel bad in the sence that her message was being seen as more reseptive because it was being done by a different women. ) but again, its the holyer than thou " she stole my jokes." When more than two people ( espeshally because shes not famous in the sense that everyone knows who shes is) is a pretty broud claim to make, unless she was stealing ALOT of her personal content. Also more than two people can have simaler personality types.
Im not trying to hate, just feel as though mattching energy in some cases is good, but stooping to some elses level isn't the way to do that.

I’m not drew but I think it’s likely that the reason she doesn’t stitch conventionally attractive men and labels misogynists with traditionally lesser attractive qualities is because she’s trying to create a narrative that it’s in general pretty undesirable. There’s no reason to feed into the idea that it’s Alpha and makes you a bad boy only to convince influential young people into thinking it’s something they should do or say to be like some of the other dangerous influencer males out there.

im not misogynistic, but tbh, using “bald” and “short” as an insult is not nice, and could be considered bullying.
not only that, but going after literal kids who did nothing wrong and calling them “unathletic b!tches” is disgusting.
this isnt justified at all, and is harassment

I dont think attacking or making fun of people's looks is ever okay. I feel like it's just always a shitty thing to do. I definetly dont think shes really doing much wrong- and I get why its good- but I think she should make fun of LITERALLY anything else. Style, mannerisms, personality, literally anything. Making fun of people for something genetic (I dont know if shes ever mentioned it but that includes weight just as a reminder) is just low.
