Funny that you mention the movie Duel. That movie and Under Siege 2 are what got me interested in Southern Pacific. I've been trying to find more information about the route that the train in Duel followed. I'm not an expert on Southern Pacific, but that route seems to be called by different names depending on who you ask. Some call it the Soledad Canyon Line or the Saugus Line. I think it's now called the Antelope Valley Line. Apparently it was the original line that ran into Los Angeles before the Palmdale Cutoff was built. I hope the Run8 developers add it to the LA routes at some point.

Same for me! I've never ventured off the beaten path like that.
6:40 I have my F7 cheat set to only air hoses so I don't have to walk the entire train lacing air hoses but can still pump air and manage the angle cocks. It's nice that we have a lot of options in Run 8 for just how much you want to do
That is actually really cool. As you said you could just have everything laced and bled or if you wanted to simulate yard air, have that option ticked too.
That dlc is a great idea to be able to backdate
That would be awesome. To be able to completely back date to a certain period or even forward date to completely present.
12:20 You may have noticed but the angle-cock always shows open with an EOT attached, even if it's closed. There's no animation. I reported this a long time ago but not sure if it will ever get fixed.
Thats right, I knew there was something to that but I couldn't remember lol.
