AAA roadside service hero coming in the comment section! If the battery is low on voltage or cold cranking amps one solution is to charge the battery. Typically this takes up to 12 to 24 hours. Through my experience batteries last between 3 to 5 years Battery longevity typically depends on how often the vehicle is driven, weather conditions, corrosion on battery cables etc I come across many AAA members who have multiple cars and the car that is less driven usually has dead batteries. Through my own experience I drive my car 5 days a week maybe 15 minutes round trip. I clean my battery cables & terminals once a year and charge the battery once a year because when I test it the battery voltage & cold cranking amps are low. Small driving trips effect the battery especially on newer cars. I enjoy your roadside adventures! U sir r the real MVP!
I like to purchase the shop box oil which is 6 gallons each and i had a 2002 v40 Volvo and loved it. I had to fix an Evap leak at the filler neck, and a plugged radiator. I didn’t like I could not safely keep the tools in the back without worrying about theft. Nice thing is the trap door for the fuel pump is under the back seat!
most batteries are made from the same companies only 2 or 3 major ones. I like walmart batteries because they are cheap and the same quality as oreilly or autozone. in extreme weather cold or hot most of these batteries only go 2-3 years max.
My 2014 ram 1500 Laramie battery lasted 4 years. I put an AGM in there at the time and it is now just over 6 years old. It's sat for just over a week and yesterday wouldn't turn over. Threw it on the trickle charger and it's fine now. However, I'm sure I'll have to replace the battery. 6 years is a good long time these days.
Indeed AAA battery I got is smaller than the one replaced. But the one I got from AAA roadside assistance has lasted 3.5 years. It’s still going strong on my 97 Camry V6. So to me this AAA battery is OK.
My battery from aaa went bad. It shorted inside, that's what my onstar emailed me. And i think it started saying that i need to service my abs, because of it, and all of a sudden i need to service my freakin tpms like wtf 😂. I got a new one from them, warranty, but I'm happy to knot, just get the best from autozone
That Volvo probably has a bad throttle body with a handful of throttle codes. Xemodex makes remanned throttle bodies for these that are programmed and ready to install.
That sounds good give us your views on the restaurants in your area I at replace the original battery on my 2015 Vauxhall 1.6 diesel Astra the stop start stop work a couple of years ago but when the cold weather was moving in the car started to crack over slow after £150 foot a new AMG battery the car starts and runs a lot better now probably because the fuel injection computer is not getting the right voltage but the stop start has started working again now but I switched it off we were lucky with my wife 2003 Ford focus because my car is the work Horse her car stands for a few weeks sum times and with the cold weather it would not now start because the battery was completely dead the battery is not now that old luckily after a slow charge it has come back to life we are now using her car twice a week now in the cold weather to help keep the battery in a good State also the brakes because they rust over when standing also the Calipers seized up cars don’t like standing there doing nothing

I used to work for AAA doing roadside service! I wasn’t a battery technician though. I was the guy changing tires and unlocking cars haha

I drove one of those Volvos for my mobile mechanic rig for a couple years. Was a trooper!

This, the main difference is usually the sticker they put on the battery.
the manufacturers will make the batteries to the specs the stores want. my 08 toyota has had only 2 batteries because i bought them at toyota.
