Wood does limit the amount of microorganisms like bacteria. Plastic cutting boards have shown to leave microplastic in your food, especially meat. There’s health risks with using either options, but I’m personally a fan of using wooden cutting boards. Just make sure you have multiple cutting boards and scrub with soap and water after use. You probably won’t kill every spec of bacteria, but i think its the lowest risk

I was at the store couple days ago and I saw your sauce for the first time. The next time I see it, I’m definitely going to buy some so that I could try it for myself. I’m not sure what kind of pasta I’m going to make it with. Probably the one with the cheese in it.

I cover the cutting board with a piece of cling film. Then trash it when done and wash cutting board. Seems easy enough and works for me. 👍

We use 2 diff wood cutting boards. 1. For veggies 2. One for meats...keep clean with salt and vinegar. Keep boards color coded to not mix up.
