Oh wow. I'm sorry to hear about the workers on strike. Vigo Harbor is spectacular. It's great to get your steps in at a very beautiful place. I didn't even know there was insurance for missing a port. That's great news! Omg...poor Flanders! 😂 That was a wild painting on that wall.🤣 Escalators are definitely convenient for those with disabilities. I love seeing and hearing the history of Castles. It's a shame they destroyed most of it. The Royal Night looks very exquisite! I've never seen napkin waving on a cruise also. Lol It's great fun, though. Lol This was a totally cool day, Buddy! We always appreciate you taking us along. Hope you're doing well and these comments get through. 😅
Perfect that you've posted this as we are visiting here later in the year. Fresh omlettes, that's always my go to breakfast, with ham and cheese. Nice that its a port where you can just follow a pretty route from the ship. Haha good warning about the slopes, but then I guess that means nice views too. Interesting about the missed port £200, especially as you still enjoyed a lovely day in Vigo. Wow I love the escalator in the city centre. It looked like a great day, on and off the ship.
Sounds like the perfect omelette combination to me 👍 Vigo is a lovely place, definitely use the escalators if you can. There’s more to see especially if you go higher up than we did, there’s a castle and museum for example. I had 2 missed ports last summer so my insurance has already paid for itself. I had a great time in Vigo and I hope that you do too. Are you staying at the Holiday Inn in Southampton the night before again?
@@ALifeintheParks yes we are and the renovations should be finished by then, so will be interesting to see. Sailing Princess for the first time, so that will be interesting too!
@ I did wonder as I know it’s your go to hotel there. I hope you have a wonderful time on Princess, their ships are lovely and the Medallion is a fantastic piece of technology.
@@ALifeintheParks yes looking forward to trying Princess. My hubbie is a bit of a creature of habit, hence the same hotel .... doesn't give me any new content though lol.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it ☺️
I was not aware of missed port insurance. It is disappointing missing a port but Vigo still looked very nice.
@@AnaheimParkTourist Missing port insurance is essential because it can really help reduce the cost of your cruise should things not go to plan

@ Try the Leonardo over the road, that’s a nice hotel too.
Which ship are you sailing on?
