I completely agree with you. Although these full metal G-Shocks look quite stunning and beautiful, I would worry about scratching them and would have to treat them with extra care. This defeats the purpose and the spirit of G-Shock.
Is it really worth it? I mean its seems like you're paying about 5 times more just for the steel casing, for me the resin model is already a excellent choice😅

For some collectors, yes, there’s tangible upgrade to this.
For me, no. I prefer resin strap G-shocks.
Really depends on what you like.
