    When doing your measurements, put the container on the scale first then zero it out to get a better and more accurate amount on the product you're using. Right now you are getting the amount of the container and the ingredient so your measurements are going to be off. Just a tip.

    So all the weights of the products on the scale are added with the weight of the measuring cups? I have plastic measuring cups so I guess my measurements will need to be a little heavier … 🤷‍♀️
    Anyways I get the idea , thanks for the recipe, I’m gonna give it a try !

    When it’s in the jar how long to you let it sit to harden up a bit or do u put it in the fridge

    • @justcherylnicole
      @justcherylnicole  5 місяців тому

      I mix it every 15-20mins or until I get the right consistency bc it’s “pourable” when I’m transferring it. When I do this method it normally hardens within 24 hours or quicker. I have done the fridge method before, but I like room temperature better.

    Is the she butter refined or unrefined? I find that unrefined smells and it’s impossible to get rid of the smell.

    • @justcherylnicole
      @justcherylnicole  5 місяців тому

      Yes, I use ultra refined bc I hate the smell of some butters bc it’s so strong and almost impossible to overpower with your fragrances.

    And is there some kind of preservative to be added if so how much and when

    • @justcherylnicole
      @justcherylnicole  7 місяців тому

      The preservatives should be added when your batch of butter is completely cooled down (most suggested). The added ratio will depend on how large or small your batch is. Most will tell you the exact amount. I hope this helps.

    Hi, just watched your video about making body butter and how to use website. My question is when you get to the part where website asks for your business name, do u need to get a license first or ever and how to proceed?
    Thanks for all your info! I've been thinking about this since I started making my own bath soaps.

    • @justcherylnicole
      @justcherylnicole  5 місяців тому

      Hello. No, you don’t need a license first. You’re getting started so it’s basically like you’re trying to get all of your ideas together first. I would say that I only used my EIN first starting out. I think you should continue to go for it 🥰.

    The word is E-Mul-sifying wax. You don't pronounce the u as a u. Say the word Null and then change the N with an M because mispronouncing ingredients when you are "TEACHING" others makes it seem like your very unprepared for this video. And I thought you are supposed to boil water and hold it at a certain temp for a set amount of minutes to make sure to get rid of all the microbials.

    • @justcherylnicole
      @justcherylnicole  11 місяців тому +30

      Seems like you should be the one making a tutorial. Perhaps a pronunciation tutorial for the thousands of ingredients out there. That would be perfect for your first video. Instead, you’re watching my video pointing out the way I’m pronouncing Emulsifying wax. This is my way and what works for my business and customers. Don’t let a few minutes from this edited clip result in you making silly assumptions. Thank you for the view though 😊.

      Wow I’m surprised at host’s attitude. You are mispronouncing emulsifying. You need to say the words right if you want to teach others. Don’t come after me if you can’t take criticism well!
