One of the only food cooking channels I like watching. The variety in what they do, having Alvin on occasionally, I especially love the botched episodes where we see more of what happens. There's a reason he's referenced and parodied so much.
It is awesome to see how his space has changed and to hear how him and his channel have evolved over the years. I’ve been watching this channel since almost the beginning of its inception, and it has remained one of my favorite channels that I’m subscribed to to date. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for Andrew and his team, because they deserve all the success that they have already achieved and will achieve. I would say it would be awesome to see him end up on a professional TV program, but to be honest, like he mentioned when it comes to editing, it would probably end up losing a lot of its charm if something like that were to happen. So I respect his decision to try to remain as hands-on as possible.
I've been watching Babish for years now and literally didn't realize he sold all that stuff. So much props to him for not constantly advertising it and really just focusing on good videos
I have loved watching Banish ever since I discovered his videos and that was when he was not showing his face at all. I love how he edits his videos and adds his personal touches because it makes it personal and it shows us viewers that even he makes mistakes in the kitchen. I Love his voice, he has got a great baritone voice that I even discovered he has a podcast that he reads bedtime stories. He read the Velveteen Rabbit and it was so nice. Even as he reads it he still adds his own touch and, for me, it makes me smile.
I'm gonna have to check that out!! I would LOVE to fall asleep to his voice, whilst not HAVING to watch what he's doing. 'Cause I'll tell you what, ain't no way one of his cooking vids is gonna put me to sleep!!! Just make me hungry, most likely. 😂
Greay job intervieweing again. Really showcase your enthusiasm and and genuine interest and it's great for many reasons, but one being that people like me who hasn't watched the content of the person being interviewed, even if I find myself humanely uncertain about the person, I still get to be exposed to their good and bad and so forth, through you. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate this interview. I accidentally stumbled upon Babish a few months ago and was fascinated. I’m a longtime follower of chefs like Alton Brown, Kenji and Chef John. Andrew’s method of cooking and presentation is amazing and I was hooked. It is nice to get to peek behind the curtain a bit and see the hows and whys of his operation. The original ‘Basics’ part of the BCU is my favorite, the current ranking series not so much, but I enjoy most of it. I wish him continued success. He seems like a decent enough guy.
I edit for a tv show and I have massive respect for Andrew still editing the videos. I think most UA-camrs should because editing usually is pretty easy
13:30 it is this level of detail that people don't really notice but also elevates the channel. Babish's stuff feels so elegant. So professionally made with these small touches.
Cooling items on the bottom shelf? Big food-safety no-no. Maybe he was making Jell-O jigglers, so, something that needed a lot of space but wasn't actually warm.
That's the only thing holding me back from starting a UA-cam channel: the tedious editing part. I don't have the patience for that and I'm a perfectionist so I would go over the same audio/video sync a million of times.
Wait omg this video was created so well how come so little people are seeing this? I've absolutely loved Babish since young and have always wanted to understand his work ethic. This interview really shows a different perspective of Babish, thank you!
All this focus, all this effort, all this money, and you have Stella Artois in the fridge?! Makes me question ever trusting Babish on anything. Awful lager.
I've been watching Babish for a decade, but he's really kinda lost track of the soul of his channel in the last few years. Other people are making videos in his style on his channel instead of him, and when he does make a video, it's some "ranking instant ramen" or other "I rank blank" video instead of cooking (and, thus, teaching us all a few things in the process). The last two or three weeks have seemed better (a return to form, if you will), but I still worry that he might have utterly departed from what made people watch him in the first place and instead has become something of a wealth-monster/empire-builder vs a cook on youtube, which is why we all followed him to start with. Anyway, this is all just my opinion. I hope the coming weeks and months see a shift with him back in front of the camera, doing his thing. This is an excellent video, by the way, Mr. Youshaei!
I'm not sure if you saw one of the videos he made last year, but he actually addressed this issue. He went through some really difficult things mentally, emotionally, and physically and had to step back from being in the forefront.
@@alechall7082alot of people are complacent and creatures of habit that don't like change example above plus I don't think this guy realizes there isn't unlimited ways to cook something he's probably made a video on almost every food there is

Andrew's voice is so soothing!

I had no idea Andrew edits what a G

my gut tells me there's a story behind the fact that there are only 3 tires in the storage area

I want this entire kitchen in my cubicle. 😊
One of the only UA-camrs who is actually laugh out loud funny
Totally agree haha
Ahh yes, my rival and my inspiration. I need that set up...
Your content is great! I hope you get to have your own decked out studio for anime cooking!
When Babish mentions Alvin, the wrong person is being depicted.
It was his video but yes that was Babish and team afterwards trying the dish he made
BWB is hands down the best cooking show online or TV, by a mile...
19:10 I am curious about what he drives those tires have some meat on them.
It’s kind of sad to think of Andrew doing the show by himself when he started. I’m glad he’s got a team behind him and his friends working with him.
The only UA-camr ive ever bought merch from(his cookbooks)
how does this only have 61k views after 6 days wtf
11 days and still not on the podcast feed 😢
I’d love to win his book. What was he using to hit record on his monitor near the beginning of the video?
Looks like an atomos ninja
LFGGGGG🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I LOVE BABISH

1:05 whose studio is this , look dope
i loved this. i record a LOT of corporate videos. boring, but i work the same. 🤣
How the f don't you have a glock nearby? 🤣 I could NEVER do that tedious recording, editing part. It's worse than accounting.
Wait omg this video was created so well how come so little people are seeing this? I've absolutely loved Babish since young and have always wanted to understand his work ethic. This interview really shows a different perspective of Babish, thank you!
Why does this video have less than 2k views?
All this focus, all this effort, all this money, and you have Stella Artois in the fridge?! Makes me question ever trusting Babish on anything. Awful lager.
It's better than the Modelo he also has.
Tantibulations of meaning
you should try and get mark rober on this show
😍😍🥰😍😍🥰🥰🎉🎉🎉
Ugh, your Logan Paul piece on the intro is such a letdown… please take that scammer off your roster.
"HaVe YoU tAlKeD aBoUt ThIs pUbLicly??!" such a tacky hook
Seemed like the natural progression of that conversation. What was wrong with it?
@@fty-ys4niSome people just loooooove to start drama.
@@fty-ys4ni there’s nothing wrong with it by itself, but using it as a hook in the intro is the tricky part. its clickbaity and tacky.
Buuuut, you clicked already. That was an intro with a hook, not clickbait. Most anyone that saw it, wanted to be here already.

Why would anyone want the same content for a decade? I personally love the direction his channel is taking.

He is one of the reasons I started to take cooking more seriously, but after botched by babish started I lost so much respect
That makes no sense. Someone shows screwups and now you don't respect them?
God I can’t stand this dude.
Then don't watch
Wow, $20M, so impressed. Babish is the most overrated person on UA-cam.
Then don't watch him
3rd!
