I hold that there are no gods at all in the entirety of the GW2, other realities included. There are only incredibly powerful beings who call themselves gods for various reasons.
The evidence for that is in how Balthazar ended and I use the term ended intentionally rather than died as we never killed him even though the journal says so.
The battle above the Skygarden ends when he reaches 5% health and at that point, he gets absorbed by Kralkatorrik in a way that strongly suggests he's a being made of energy, along with Abaddon being a giant head of energy after his human form is destroyed suggests that the form they too was mostly for the benefit of the people worshipping them.
I also believe that various beings who are powerful in the Mists are way less so when on the Tyrian plane of reality as the events that Kormir says created the Crystal Desert would have left geological clues that could be seen even now a thousand years after they happened, and there are none, like, at all throughout the entire expansion. The only clue you do see is an oddity, namely the fish skeletons in Desert Highlands since they should have eroded away centuries ago with the constant sand storms as they would have been ground down by the sand. The Six does have elements who can fake such a thing ever happening though, namely, Melandry and Lyssa.

Do we actually know other worlds have cycles and need gods to keep them in order like Tyria or are you just assuming that because Nayos looks wrecked?

It is just a theory by me based on how similar the Human Gods and the elder Dragons are.
So Nayos could be a destructed realm or just a copied island of something else made by the mists. At some point during the Story we were following Kralkatorrik through rifts and during that we entered the realm of Melandru and a few other gods all these worlds were floating landmasses too.
Soo.. there is a chance that Nayos, Fissure of woe (Balthazar) or the underworld (Grenth) are just copies of an actual real world we have yet to visit. And the human Gods same as the kryptis Demons are just using these places as basecamp.
And we all just assume that that are realms on there own.
But yeah no real answers so far. Maybe with the last SotO patch we get some clarity ...but most likely not
