Spent 20 years doing dry bulk for a big company. We delivered mostly plastic resin, pellets and powder. Easiest stuff to unload. This tutorial was the best, you didn't miss a thing!
This is probably one of the best videos i have seen of unloading a pneumatic trailer. Greay job Ma'am 😂. You sure cannot beat experience. Merry Christmas
Thanks for the video, I looked every where for the best one and this is it by far. All the other's just do a horrible job. I just started about a month ago delivering flower, and i have been having a rough time keeping my flow going good.
@@brucejones597 I can give a few pointers but only have been doing it for about six months now, the best success i have is firing up the pto and letting the aerator's fluff up the flour for a couple minutes, then open your product air line and let it run for 30 seconds or so, then open the hopper valve at 10psi and let it slowly build its pressure from there. Another tip, just dont rush and dont freak out take it slow and eventually you will be able to diagnose issues by sound.
You're pretty good for just one presentation. I'm watching this video after 2 years; from when you uploaded this video. After 5 jobs in just two year being over the road; it's amazing that I'm watching your video to join this particular company...
Good video...never done pneumatic trailers like that but thinking about it since the oilfield went to crap for now....drove the transvacs that unloaded by pressurizing the tank with air and pulled vacuum to load.
They should leave the length of training up to you. One day might be enough for someone who already did it and just needs some pointers on how this company operates. Where a new driver may need two weeks to get up to speed.
The video I was looking for since I'm about to break into knumatics in south Texas. Hopefully I get a good equipment to learn quickly without getting plugged as much. Will be watching it a second and third time.
What are you offloading and how long is the push? This is good for general education but there's techniques for each product and what kind of storage it's going into.
This video was very helpful but I'm not going to lie it's a little too long. I'm starting a new pneumatic job next week and this will help me out big time. Thank you
Hi Miguel, I'm trying to do unload of ciment her in Brazil, but I have some questions because here, has Betico compressor (piston) and they use a pressure 2,0 bar to do unloading, but I want use T5CDL9L (Gardner Denver) and the max, pressure is 1,0 bar. The Betico unloading in 1:20 hours to 38 m³ ciment and I did in 1: 48 with T5CDL9L and I had some problems with temperatura (plug temperatura and grease), please could you send me an email to we to talk ?
If not to clogged up and a dust type product may be able to unplug after trailer pod is empty or mostly empty by closing all valves and just leave open aeration valve for the pod that not vibrating and then just play around with the pressure on the air supply valve by opening and closing that work for me the other day when I was unloading some else's preloaded trailer only the back part of aeration pipe and last pod aeration hoses was plugged and that was a dust load . But most of the time if plugged up good and packed up that won't work .
not necessary and it shouldn't affect pumping time with or without . but I never try without one ,give it a shot .What really matters is how much CFM AIRFLOW the blower is moving . and that depends the pto gear ratio , the blower , rpms you running at ..the higher cfm the easier it is to keep your tank psi up the better you can aerate your product you pumping , the faster it will flow as long as the psi is being release at the same rate from exhaust side .. But if you doing a powder or dust type load usually you don't need a high CFM flow because the particle are lightweight , on average should take about 1 to 2 hours to unload 25 tons , also depends on place and their system and how well they maintain it . the problem is if the truck blower is set up for powder or dust loads and you switch over to coarse load ,that's when you need the higher CFM

Was struggling in my training with my company you explained it extremely better than my trainers. Thank you.
Super helpful video. My trainer seemed distracted and kept trying to do stuff for me. Here's to not messing everything up on my own Monday.
Driving over 30 years just started on this job, best job I've had by far
1 minute in and I can tell this is very detailed. Thanks. I know you're a pro because you got a folding chair.

This is a good video, I haven't unloaded in a few years, but will be soon. Using this as a refresher.
👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾🔥💯 great presentation and demonstration

Where are you delivering from?
@@brucejones597 I assume I just needed some more experience, I'm having no trouble now.
@@johnfox2521 I just got offered a job delivering from dowagiac Michigan mostly flour just hoping that I can learn how to operate a pneumatic tanker

Excellent video! I am use to offloading Heil trailers but I just bought a Tyrsol thats been giving me fits. This helps alot!

Thanks you broke this down very well I've had only one day of training and it kicked my ass the next day by myself hopefully this hwlp alot

Thanks for putting this together, very informative!
very good video detail in everything that talks about thank you

Best video out there thanks Miguel.
Sure , no problem . Maybe some day i get around to make it shorter and better
Can you load product such as cement from say like a guppy storage silo into the truck trailer and if yes, what would be the process?
Back on the saddle after 10 years...... good job on video.
Awesome video

How's it going?
Great video it help me so much thank you so much for sharing. God May bless you
Good presentation and explanation. It will help me a lot with my project.

Very informative video thank you
This guyz awsome.
I liked pulling pneumatics pretty good. I've blown off urea, limestone, and sugar!
Es de gran ayuda saludos
Are you pressurizing your tank with the aerators or through the top of the tank?
Through aerators
cement trailer aeration airslide pipe hose for cement bulker
How do you unclog the aeration line
I've noticed mine don't get as hot anymore

How long does it take each pod to empty? Roughly around how long?
Around 20 to 40 minutes, give or take
What kind of product
16x120 limestone calcium

miguel h thx Miguel, when do you think can do a video on how to replace a blower bearing an d seal?
miguel h I unload 23.5 tons in 50 to 60 minutes depends on the hose length
You good , and never on seal or bearing
It a company truck I just put it in the shop
