I feel I can help here, the Receiver pins are - + s . So Negative / Pos / Signal, as you say in the vid Ad. The Neg and Pos pins on the RX are all on a Bus (just all in one line)- they are all connected to either Neg or Pos, and the Neg ones all go to the BEC- and Pos ones all go to the BEC+. (Batt Eliminator Circuit) So power available on this bus is what the Esc's BEC puts out to it through the Esc's RX wire/plug. So you can't draw more than it can supply. ( It may only be 3A), so don't run too many lights off it, because the servo's are also sharing this power. If you're running High power steering servo's (Two in Ads case ) you may need a separate BEC to supply 5v+ more Amps to the servo's, otherwise if both servo's stall out while driving - the BEC on the Esc will smoke. You need a BEC that can supply the servo's Amp draw at stall. I will post a link to the items I mention here at the end. The two LED's when you reversed that plug Ad are so low a current draw that they were coming on using the signal line! , if you slow-mow video that, they would be flashing with the signal of the RX !. So you will smoke the RX with anything bigger there, so only plug them in the right way around. Your spot on with the Light Bar - it has a chip in it that is reading the signal from the channel you were adjusting, and so you were able to control the various modes that it has by adjusting the channels output. Plugging an RX plug in backwards should generally be avoided, I damaged an Esc and RX at the same time doing this. So to switch them two wire LED's on/off with the channel you would need something like this;- (Plugs into the controlling channel and then the lights plug into it. hobbyking.com/en_us/dr-mad-thrust-electronic-onoff-switch.html?queryID=286dd563ba202f21a486334df0183c56&objectID=83129&indexName=hbk_live_magento_en_us_products And a BEC which can supply 3Amps (runs directly off the Main Lipo) example :- (You may need a bigger BEC if you need more Amps etc.) hobbyking.com/en_us/kingkong-5v-3a-ubec.html?queryID=17ab546e4967f7cbeec7ea4f2d9dd299&objectID=20575&indexName=hbk_live_magento_en_us_products Hope this helps Guys! . Great video. Been having an issue with a new set of color changing leds i just bought. You may have shown me the fix I need! I'll have to try when I get home. Knew I should have brought my truck to work haha! Cheers!
Ah thats great if it has! Let me know how you get on, if you still have no joy then maybe i can have a toy around with our hirock and see if tgeres anything else to try👍
I just got a light bar and it's all part of the programming in the light bar 2 presses on channel 3 sets the color, a long press turns it off and a long press turns it on

I got reciver switch for lights, than I can use buttons on controller to use any stuff like winch, lights or any other even with two stages like brightness
Can you help me on the same radio when I'm in reverse I have more power than forward how do I fix the problem when I go to rev it just switch it on the radio how do I problem gram it in reverse mode to get full throttle thanks
Ate you on a brushed motor? If so, swap your wires over on the motor, and then if its running backwards , , switch your throttle REV on the radio to correct it again, hopedully that gives you full power forwards again. If that doesnt work then the duel rate (DR) must be set wrong
Yes i think your right. From what was happening with the lights i tested, , the simple LED lights stayed on all the time no matter what happened. With the flashing lights, the only time they turned off was due to the fact that the lights themselves had different flashing modes, one of the modes being "off", and we were able to cycle round to the "off" mode, but is only because those lights had that ability to built into them. Somebody mentioned that you would need to get an "on/off" box, i guess thats what you need to get, i'm not sure where you would get one of these though, maybe wheelspin models online or modelsport online. Hope the video helped you put a bit though.
Set your end points on 3rd channel and it will work. Just had this issue then it will work on the clicker

Awesome to investigate 👍
I dont know if it helped or proved anything for the viewer, but worth experimenting with i think
