Being a girl boss has phases. I just closed a 2 million a year business with 15 employees that I grew from scratch over the last 20 years. My kids left for college, covid changed everything and I decided this girl boss was moving to the beach, going to downsize my lifestyle and be a reseller. The best part of my day is driving down the beach to the post office. I’m choosing freedom over money.

First - so glad you’re ok, I was worried something terrible had happened but it’s the opposite, something wonderful! I think you have found your “enough”! As women we are always told now that we should want it all, can have it all, etc. but we don’t need to do it ALL. I’m so glad to hear you’ve found a balance that is just enough to make you happy and suit your life!
My youngest daughter just left for college this year- a year early (she’s a senior in high school but decided to be dually enrolled). I can’t tell you how hard it’s been without them. I wish for a minute I could go back and hug those little pigtails. Listen to their sweet high voices. Embrace your babies. Live your life. On the end, that’s really what matters most.

Congratulations on your next phase! This popped up in my feed at exactly the right time. After 20 years of a volatile career and being treated like there was always a fire and emergency to solve only to be let go after getting companies to stable / successful waters, I'm taking a time out and full time reselling to take back control over my life and time. It's time to have fun and be creative again! What you and other resellers have been able to accomplish from an earnings point of view has been so inspiring over the past few years, that it's been fuel for helping me see that I can do it too. Congratulations! I've owned a small housecleaning business for 36 years. Three separate times I've hired employees with the intention of building the business. Every time I've decided to go back to being a solopreneur. It's just way less stressful. I plan to run my reselling business myself as well Once you add employees its a totally different thing

I don’t have time to watch your full video. I was able to watch it in less than 2 minutes. I love these misleading What Sold Videos - lol. Yeah, you cleaned up a pair of dirty sneakers that you found at the bins for a buck. What about all of the other costs? Storage, employees, bots, shipping supplies, taxes, etc. that filthy pair of sneakers that you flipped for $20 actually cost you around $5 AND that’s not including your time. At the end of the day, being a reseller is classified as GIG work without benefits. The only difference is that you’re not punching a time clock. We have to watch videos when you’re up and when you’re down. Ever hear waitresses crying about their slow days?

If you buy pallets and sellers say they want to "share" then don't share the most common companies that are junk and keep the good companies hidden like we are all elon musk and we will buy alllllll the liquidation pallets haha and keep them in one warehouse the size of Utah haha.....so I think if the girl boss Era and the gatekeeper thing has ended.......that should as well like the fake numbers (not mogibeths hers are real)

A lot of people make a lot of money and resell however, they’re not spending a lot of time on UA-cam on Instagram on TikTok talking about it when you’re looking at a side hustle just let it be a side hustle. Enjoy your family enjoy your friends and just let it be what it is to you and your life you don’t need to broadcast everything you’re doing to people and making that a whole thingyeah maybe it brings a couple extra dollars from the ads and this and that but is it worth it just work like normal person you’ll always have to make UA-cam videos about everything in your life think about that

I would LOVE to have the girl boss gatekeeper mindset stop. If you buy pallets and sellers say they want to "share" then don't share the most common companies that are junk and keep the good companies hidden like we are all elon musk and we will buy alllllll the liquidation pallets haha and keep them in one warehouse the size of Utah haha.....so I think if the girl boss Era and the gatekeeper thing has ended.......that should as well like the fake numbers (not mogibeths hers are real)

My daughter is due the beginning of December. I'm trying to sell also for two years now. It's not good. I get a sale here and there and it isn't like my prices are crazy. I am on permanent disability because of my cancer battle so I figured I'd try especially because I love shopping. I think its so weird when people dont show their newborns faces, like nobody on the planet can look at a newborn and pick them out of a crowed 2 3 4 yrs later, they never look the same its being a little dramatic..... and extreme
I'm a stay at home homeschool and work from home mom lol. I can't do anything crazy with ebay but I make enough to help with the bills. I don't think I could ever not have an income. Used to be an rn. Hated leaving my kids daily.

A lot of people make a lot of money and resell however, they’re not spending a lot of time on UA-cam on Instagram on TikTok talking about it when you’re looking at a side hustle just let it be a side hustle. Enjoy your family enjoy your friends and just let it be what it is to you and your life you don’t need to broadcast everything you’re doing to people and making that a whole thingyeah maybe it brings a couple extra dollars from the ads and this and that but is it worth it just work like normal person you’ll always have to make UA-cam videos about everything in your life think about that
