It depends in which part of season 3 because if it's base s3 Miguel I agree he's worse than Miguel s2 by a huge gap but if it's Miguel s3 resolve amp I think he surpasses his season 2 self but that's my opinion.

No one got weaker throughout the franchise unless its due to age (only applies for Kreese and Silver since they are now way past retirement age) or due to injury (only applies to Miguel since he was the only one who had a really bad injury)

Thank you for covering this. I was debating with a guy who thinks Hawk is fodder 😂. He looked relative to Kyler but that shows that Kyler improved and not that Hawk was nerfed.

Hawk was nerfed in season 5 and season 3 was hawks best(physically) as in was stated with jacob when he was rating his mohawks. Another thing is that even if you discard that hawk got PARRIED kenny literally PARRIED him FAST and hawk got hit with the silver bullet. hawk wasn't nerfed then he wouldn't have gotten speed blitzed and even then the attack Kenny did was basically a normal punch with a party but just aimed at the chest.
2:30 to 3:18, I remembered watching a video about S5 Hawk and which they stated that Hawk wasn't only using Miyagi Do but both style since Hawk was pushing forward in his fight with Kyler.

I totally agree, S5 Hawk is really underrated (top 5 most underrated Cobra Kai characters in my opinion) although I would still put him below Sam and Tory, but no way S3 Hawk beats him.
By the way, would you have the calculations for Tory's stone breaking feat and young Johnny's sign breaking feat? I might need to bring these up in a debate, so that I can prove that Tory IS stronger than Young Johnny.

Very good video. I still Think S4 is prime. One reason. Hawk S5 didn’t had any situation where he proved he had the same confidence as in S4. As we saw confidence is one of the most important things. I also think S5 Hawk is underrated but still a little nerfed. Or not nerfed, but didn’t really had his confidence. S3 Hawk tho is not even close to any of those level. He is weak, slow and just a aggressive kid anybody, even Sam could clap.
Season 3 and below I agree Sam claps Hawk but in season 4 and 5 Hawk beats Sam.

I still think that Miguel is the strongest since he is yet to outright lose ANY fight since becoming all valley champ. Miguel beat hawk many many times in previous seasons and in later seasons he beat robby like every single time. The only reason why miguel has lost any fight later on is because of getting off guarded or because of his injury (which seems to be a non-issue now but it may prevent him from being as dominantly #1 as he was in the first few seasons, hence the "all on the same level" statements for miguel, hawk, and robby).

Out of curiosity what proof is there that Hawk only used Myagi-Do against Kyler?? People say the same thing in season 4, people always say Hawk was only using Myagi-Do until the Robby fight which isn't true at all and is easily debunkable. and as far as what was mentioned here, him choosing not to strike first doesn't mean he's not using both styles. It just simply means he's choosing to do the Myagi-Do route and not strike first but that doesn't mean if someone does pick a fight he wont use Cobra Kai techniques. I'm open to be convinced though so i'd like to know if you have any valid reasoning for why he's ONLY using Myagi-Do in season 5, maybe I missed something!
Defence,Power you find your balance this is what Daniel said to hawk before the first round against Robby.Robby throws a kick Hawk does blocks it then throws a kick of his own Robby’s blocks it does the Miyagi do blocking technique and then Robby’s strikes him in the chest scoring the first point. In this round he only used miyagi do.He calls time out and says to Daniel he knows all my moves he trained at miyagi do way longer than me Daniel said and you were in CobraKai way longer than him you both know each others karate better than the other put him in defence. I hoped this helped for season 4 argument.
@@Tappin_YT appreciate the response! My question was more directed at season 5 but I will respond as I believe the argument is debunkable in season 4! The only time Hawk decides to use Miyagi Do only is when Daniel tells him too in that instance. A lot of people seem to assume that confirms he’s ONLY been using MD the ENTIRE tournament but that just isn’t the case. For example people basically say Miguel with no confidence and MD hawk both get stomped by Robby and they’re relative to eachother. When hawk and Miguel go to fight eachother they confirm that they aren’t going to hold back and during their fight they even use the same moves as eachother confirming that hawk is NOT just using MD. So Miguel is fighting the same version of hawk that beat Robby in this instance. For further proof Terry Silver in S5 confirms that the top 3 fighters are hawk, Robby and Miguel. The ONLY VERSION of Miguel Terry silver has ever seen fight is the no confidence version that took on Eli which means he views the 3 of them as on the same level. Funny thing to note is that it’s implied that Miguel was going to beat hawk as well so unironically you can argue that no confidence Miguel is the best fighter in S4 haha. But yeah, basically there’s no evidence that he only used MD the entire tournament until the Robby fight. He only did that in the first round against Robby. Otherwise there’s much more evidence to suggest otherwise. But people seem to use headcanon for S5 as well to cope for why hawk wasn’t as impressive in season 5 and there’s no good arguments so I’d like to see if someone can actually provide something that might change my mind. For the record I love hawk as a character, he’s one of my favourites!

W video, I agree with this for the most part, but saying that hawk in character uses miyagi do is just not true, hawk struck first against kyler in the season 4 tournament, he said he wouldn’t hold back against Miguel in the season 4 tournament and was shown using the same moves, he was ready to go all out against Robby before Daniel explicitly told him to use purely miyagi do, he said he was gonna shut up Kenny before Robby told him to hold back. The only time hawk uses miyagi do is if he’s instructed to hold himself back so I don’t think it should be used as an argument for him struggling with kyler

For the Kyler fight, Hawk was using both styles. Hawk striked Kyler but Kyler blocked it and slammed his head on a table. He wasn’t suppressed of anything and Kyler beat him up. Hawk at the start of the fight pushed Kyler out of the way. Him beating the Cobra Kai goons isn’t a feat at all. S4 Hawk is his prime imo.

It’s noteworthy that hawk already had trouble standing because his leg was injured before the silver bullet, it was the combination of the two injuries that prevented him from being able to stand, so Robby being able to stand after the silver bullet proves nothing
Since Robby’s durability is the only argument people have used for Robby surpassing hawk In season 5 which I have just nullified there is no evidence supporting Robby surpassing hawk
Therefore we can only assume that the difference between hawk and Robby from season 4 to season 5 stayed the same

Hawk s5 was holding back and after Kenny scored the 1st point, Hawk was trying but the point Hawk scored on Kenny was waived off. It would be impossible to win due to those circumstances and Miguel and Robby would've also lost due to the bribed ref.
@@Edgar_Editz it doesnt matter, kenny still outpaced hawk by blocking his punch and countering with the silver bullet, meaning even kennys punch was able to absolutely destroy hawk as he couldnt get up for so long, this also means he has better ap, and ap = dura due to newtons 3rd law of motion: any action has an equal or opposite reaction, therefore kenny has more ap, more durability, and more combat speed.

However, giving the fact Kyler trained much more than Hawk in season 5, Kyler gave Hawk more of a trouble to fight because it was a street fight and Kyler learned much more dirty moves and skills than Hawk in season 5. Kyler still lost a 3 v 2 and Hawk was dominating the fight in the beginning between Kyler and he no diffed the two other Cobra Kai's that was with Kyler. You also saw that Hawk has no bruises after he got his head slammed by Kyler on a table at a fast speed and he got up perfectly fine with no injuries as well. The reason Demitri knocked out Kyler at the end was due to Hawk already giving Kyler a lot of damage and Kyler was knocked out by Demitri when Hawk gave him damage.

Well tbf Hawk's durability is being underrated. We see Kyler slam Hawk's face onto a table at a fast speed and Hawk got back up with no bruises or damage from that table slam and the difference between the silver bullet Kenny gave to Hawk and Robby is that Kenny had it perfectly set up against Hawk during their Sekai Taikai qualifier match and when Kenny used it on Robby, Kenny rushed through it so Robby didn't take much damage compared to Hawk but Robby was still on the floor grabbing onto his chest after Miguel saved him. Both of their durability should be relative but it's closer than what people think and I think their durability is =.

S2- Robby (tanked Miguel’s hits better than Hawk did)
S3- Robby (idk but Robby has more dura feats, Hawk didn’t really get into fights)
S4- Hawk (bro survived that terrible haircut he had 💀)
S5- = Robby did better with the silver bullet but when he got hit Kenny didn’t charge it enough he rushed it, Hawk showed no sign of injury after being countered and his head slammed. Could go either way tho
