I'll just be another person to give my highest complements to your work. The way that you are able to capture and share natural beauty is unrivalled. I've only recently found your work and UA-cam channel, and I'm very glad I did. It is not only wonderful armchair escapism into a relaxing realm, but it is inspiring to both get out into the natural world and to fight to protect it. I hope to see you around someday, in some glorious corner of the world.
I truly appreciate your kind words and support! Thanks so much Thomas!! More to come and I see you someday 🤝
seeing that octopus cover itself was so cool to witness..also..you cold water divers are just bada**..cheers
I’m just off the coast of port hardy, and seeing the difference in comparison to the amount of sea life on the waterfront, and the Deep expanse, makes me want to explore the depths more than anything. This is an amazing video
Stunning!! I love the contrast of these cold water dives to your warm tropical ones. The ocean is really a spectacular place! 😍
Thank you very much, couldn’t agree more :)
Wow ! Nice video. Awesome footage
I'm from Vancouver island this video singlehandedly convinced me to get my open water. My first open water dive is in 10 days!
That’s great!! Welcome to the team :)
That octopus shot digging down is the coolest
Thank you very much !
Well looks like I'm doing a scuba class so I can go down and see this amazing underwater world we have, thanks for the Inspiration my friend 😁🤘
You are most welcome! Thank you :)
what a great video. the recordings are extremely good. Highly professionally edited and set to music. I'm absolutely thrilled. Very strong video!
Thanks so much, there is a new long upload coming this weekend! “ One Year in British Columbia “ hope you like it 🐙✨
Hey Marcelo,
I've to say that your videos are the best diving videos out there. Exceptional quality and well edited.
If you, or someone, know someone that does it better I would like to know.
Thanks for your work !!
Thank you very much for your support Javier!! Truly appreciate!
Not to say I'm better, yet you will find some nice underwater video on my UA-cam channel. My later work is much better than my earlier work.
So beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you
Some really creative shots nice job!

Me taking out my tg-6 with the macro feature “ah yeah this is amazing”. Comes home and sees this. Throws camera in the garbage 😂. Seriously though your IG and now here has inspired me to get into the water more.
Thank you very much !
Amazing video. So clear and great colour. Thank you for sharing. I am just completing the PADI open water cert and hope to dive near Vancouver / Island. Have done 2 dives in Dominican Republic already. Fell in love with SCUBA.

Stunning. How lucky we are living @ mid VI. Thank you .
Absolutely the luckiest! Thank you :)
You don't get the contrast of colorful life against a dark background in the tropics as much as cold water places. Fantastic. Near Quadra Island? Life loves current there around Vancouver Isl.
Absolutely spot on !
Never seen a swimming nudibranch either!
OMG it is so lovely to see the place I live has such amazing ocean environment and creatures! Thank you for the high quality video! I am wondering how deep you dive to shoot this video?
This is awesome and stunning footage and squence, great job
Thank you!! Glad that you liked it 🙏

Absolutely, so friendly aren’t they! 🙏
Spectacular images, make you want to be there watching those beautiful creatures. I loved the edit!
Thanks so much! Very glad to hear it! Patagonia is still on my bucket list! Cheers
@@bugDreamer Thanks Marcelo, you know that I'll wait for you in Ushuaia whenever you want!
Fantactic!
Thank you!!
This was mindblowing! thanks so much for this amazing video!
What temperature was the water? What kind of gear was you using for that? Was you using Argon for the drysuit? How long was your dives?
Thanks David! Glad to hear it, temperature at the moment is 7-8 degrees Celsius. Bottom time vary between 45-70 minutes depending on the depth. Bare sentry tech drysuit. All the camera gear I used you can find on my website www.bugdreamer.com/gear
Thanks again
That is some beautiful underwater video, very well done. I really liked your drone work as well, it really shows the island well. The macro was particularly good, it takes a lot to get shots like that.
Thanks so much Roy !
Amazing!
Thank you very much !
Beautiful as always, Marcelo! . Congratulations!. JM
Thank you Juan !
nice to see your eyes amongst all the other eyes,
a great distraction from my baking this evening, thank you
once again you have a great way of creating an immersive, cinematic
experience, very nice indeed, good lad,
what the hell was that white thing with no eyes 3mins 7 in??
Thanks so much Chef! It makes me smile everything I read your comments! That thing without eyes is a nudibranch ( sea slug) that one is known as hooded nudibranch, over 3000 species of nudibranchs in the sea! How crazy is that? Hope you are doing well!! All the breasts 👽
Its really difficult to image how those creatures experience reality. Some times I try to daydream about what it would be like to be many different land animals and I think the difference is mostly the perception of time (I think time goes faster for animals based on heartrate) and memory (they are probably distracted all the time), but these creatures must be living in a completely different universe of experience.
Awesome!
Thank you!
Great film ! Around what depth were these images shot ?
Stunning videography. Your artistry is sublime!
Thanks so much!
Ese calamar parece mas un pulpo
So good!! Love the swimming hooded nudi, little stubby's and ruby octo! Also the giant feather duster worms from steep island were gorgeous!! That dive is #1 on my list right now. Killer video!
I can't wait to come out and join ya some day soon!
Thank you Bro!!
So amazing! Thank you for sharing!🥰
Thank you, and thanks for watching :)
This is unreal 😲 Great job 👏👏
Thank you very much!
Amazing video, never tought Canada had this gem lurking! At what depth were you in most of the video if I may ask?
I never thought Canada had so much to offer neither, between 5 and 30mts
Thank you
Its like a descent into an Alien world
Absolutely 👽🖖
Beautiful
Thank you!
Great video mate. What kinda set up are you filming this with?
Thank you, bugDreamer.com/gear
Amazingly beautiful! I'd love to know what camera you're using.
Thank you John! I used a lumix gh5 for this film! Cheers
💪💯👏👏👏👏👏🍻🍻
Gracias muchacho!!
Curious on how you get such good and longs shots of these animals, whenever I try to record fish or octopus they just swim away really fast?
Hold your breath and hope for the best :)
3:10 what's the name of this song?? It's awesome..
5 minutes 01 seconds - 5 minutes 07 seconds
I'm new to marine life identification. Is
that a juvenile lobster?
4:27 does somebody know the scientific name of the sepia with this square/triangular feature ?
Opalescent squids 🛸
Amazing Video! Which company should I join to do Scuba Diving in Vancouver island?
