That's a nice 5.0, I had 6 of them. The reason why it's turning slow, tune up, new spark plugs, wires, new ignition coil, distributor cap rotor. Clean out that throttle body, and a spray job and that will be one bad mother, she sounds good, nice Nick 🏁👍PS And have that battery replaced, it might be on its last leg.
Keep the Foxbodies coming Nick!!! LOVE those cars! The price is right for this car too. It should sell fast. I would love to have it, take it apart and repaint it properly from top to bottom and inside and out. I would also put the original turbine wheels back on it. Awesome car!!!

I am with you on the heat. I cut sleeve off all my old shirts... I can't stand to be dripping wet with sweat halfway to heat stroke. These foxbody's are still a lot of fun to drive and they sound better than new mustang in my opinion.

Good sound but the undercarriage sure is rusty! Reminds me of a flood car! The undercarriage being rusted weakens the subframe tremendously! Also when you put the turn lights on the headlights were affected and that tells me there’s some wiring issues as well! The exterior 13:08 body looks good and it seems to run really good but the price is about four grand to high for this car! Nick….Thanks for your Honesty in your descriptions because most used car dealers try their best to hide imperfections! Your a cool dude! Furthermore, just because I believe the price is a little high doesn’t mean you guys can’t get your asking price! Price for a car depends on the value someone finds the car ascertains!

Although...a nice example..the interior plastics soon will discolor and crumble apart if they haven't begun already. Just the age of the vehicle and the chemical compounds of the materials break down with the constant temperature changes in the vehicle. Had one..I know, but very cool car non the less.

Gotta love a fox body 5.0! Prefer the Notchback over the GT lighter and faster.
Maybe faster because it was a few hundred lbs lighter minus the GT body kit, but the GT was much better looking!

When I saw this car from a far it looked good until I saw the peanut butter paint job, from Maico, so said in those years then they had a lot of problems from unlicensed Maico dealers, that Maico did not approve of them and this happened. The Maico corp from 88 to 95 was sued in many states for not getting control of these unlicensed shops and if you see one of them, I would love to see of where one of them many be today. For I found out the hard way, when I had no warranty of this shop of the peanut job that was done to one of my trucks So much for the history lesion, for the car that you see , for that price is alright with me, fuck the paint, it's the car that passes with me .Sorry Nick if I whet to long.

I just don't trust the vehicles at Maple, they don't seem to be of good quality, something just doesn't sit well with me , when watching their videos. Like this Mustang, I've been looking for my dream car, 1989 Mustang GT, but something just doesn't sound right with the motor, and the vehicle just seems ratted out😠

@dragsterguy38 where are you at then where's there's plenty of "nice ones" for 5 grand? I'm legitimately asking and not trying to be a smart-ass. I'm in a 2022 mach 1 now as my daily, and been looking for a good 88-93 fox to restore, but everyone I've seen wants an incredible amount for cars that are by most accounts terrible. I had 9 mustangs now and I've always wanted a fox, but I won't pay these people crazy amounts for rusted out sh*tboxes. I live in the south, not too far from this guy and his car lot, and every fox I've seen for the better part of 2+ years is overpriced and underperforming. If you know where I can find a nice car that i can drive but still restore that the owner doesn't think it's a unicorn, I'd be very interested

My personal opinion: the Mustang was not an attractive body style from 74 onward until 05 when the retro design came out.
I beg to differ, I like the years the fox body through the new edge 2004, i didn't like the '05 retrostyle, just me 🤷
