Usually the broken resistor has a break in electrical circut. If you don't have a multimeter you can check for a gap between A and D with another tester or with a battery and bulb.

Can i use a replacement for this , it is the same pf z10 but the socket is inverted like the H and L , and M1 and M2 have are on the opposite side.
