Yeah Aaron preffers to do things this way, i preffer plini's way where he changes stuff but this way is great too and I can respect his decision to stay like the record
nah, you can see Aaron has his pickup selector on 1 and 2 at all times, and his Suhr is an HSS configuration. So he is using the humbucker tone (at some point blended with the middle pickup). at no point does he go into positions 3,4, or 5, so no single coil sounds.
I'm surprised some think this sounds like a studio recording. To me they sound way different live, much less refined. Not knocking it, their songs are insane and that they can play them at all is highly impressive. Sounding so much more raw speaks to how difficult the songs are. It sounds to me like Aaron is trying to push the tempo and out of pocket because of it.
Troy Wrght only took over Nathan's position for the American tour going on now with AAL and plini as Nathan has a tour with Auras. But in this video its definetly Nathan.
Stage communication is immaculate.
Jbjarvis fucking insane
1:16 is unreal. Gets me every time
Nathan did Travis’s part so much justice here.
Sounds exactly like the record.

Damn seems like they listened a lot of chon's stuff to come up with that one xD
Everyone seems to be listening to Chon because there are some tracks of the new AAL that have a huge Chon influence
