This routine of a classic trick is a reminder of an old saying that applies to magicians as much as it does to musicians... It's the singer, not the song. It's the magician, not the trick. Brilliant work, Michael!

This is one of my favorite tricks to see performed! I know exactly how it is done and I don't think I could ever do it that well and I know I could never do it that fast. Like another comment below, it's like a great joke that can be listened to repeatedly

I don't know why, but I always love how Penn tells the acts how they did it without telling us. When he said that the wine was made by someone, that was obviously him saying, "You used this method".
Also, really cool trick. Makes me think of the ball and cup trick. I can say I honestly like these smaller tricks more than the big flashy ones. Card tricks and such.

There's actually a backstory to that. Getting the rights to use Martini and Rossi brand martini bottles was actually a process. We had "greeked" labels that we were going to use, and at the last minute they gave us permission to use the Bacardi/Martini and Rossi brand as long as we didn't misrepresent the brand. So when Penn said "Brooke winery," I was eager to let the world know that these were Martini And Rossi brand because I had JUST had that discussion before walking onstage.
