I put in a Rainbird ST8x-WIFI2 controller. I don't like the wireless setup and the app is only ok. But I do like the fact that I can turn it on and off remotely from anywhere and all the programing is done from my phone. Biggest problem is that it was my first controller for sprinklers I have installed and I put one of the wires on the rain sensor. OMG did it act crazy. Once I wired it right, I got it to work.
I have ever dealt with a master pump but I’m assuming that could be one of the options. Basically you need that to turn on to create pressure before you can have pressure for individual stations/zones.

Thanks for sharing. A new video will be coming out soon to help people with wiring up a clock correctly.
