This is not a song, this is a masterpiece
with headphones is ....no words
Chicken skin!
U right broo
@@theSnowXRIDER ⁰
This can be said about many Linkin Park songs.
The violin, the electronic hook, the fading of the vocals to make them feel underneath your skin, the vocals of chester and shinoda, it's a masterpiece
It's good idea, you know
Absolutely
Aaron Lewis' vocals also contribute a lot. (I used to be a big fan of Staind at the same time that I listened to Linkin Park, and I remember being extremely moved when I recognized him on this track for the first time.)
Aaron Lewis really brings it all together and solidifies the song for sure
@@darkshad0wz69 what parts does Aaron Lewis sing here ?
The comments weren't lying. This is a masterpiece.
Aaron Lewis and Chester along with Mike pure gold.
Beautiful masterpiece
Who is Aaron Lewis
@@GoreOB The frontman of Staind. Should go give them a listen. You won't regret that.
@@Loner_Kun you listen to that douche huh
@@GoreOB cry about it
This version gives so much goosebumps!! Man i feel like crying.. I don't know why...
You aren't alone
Agreed. That epic intro !! Goosebumps here too. Miss Chester ❤️
I miss him
Definitely... there is something scary and beautiful... I'm using intro it as my ringtone to feel it.
I feel ya
Reanimation was a masterpiece and this song is the crowning jewel on that album.
Agreed
Totally
It is actually their best album, their magnum opus.
Strongly agreed
thank yo!
The more you grow up, the deeper their lyrics make their way into you! until life finally gave you enough to feel them all, all they wrote seems like a prayer to me now!
True!
When we were young, we loved the music. When we grew up, we understood the lyrics.
I'm listening to this for the first time, but I can feel the lyrics too!
Truth
Agree
For me this version of crawling always was the best one.
Rohan status.
the whole reanimation album is some of the finest LP stuff there is.... ever
Original - Rage + Pain
Reanimation - Melancholy
One More Light Live - ....
Most underrated album of all time. Most underrated song of all time. This song has everything with the best build up to pure music perfection. Easy top 5 song of mine
Not only this. Have you ever listen to it with a surround system? Sometimes I think this album is the only one who knows that more than stereo exists.
This is their best album. It has everything in it.
Chester😇. Miss this guy immensely.
@kylewiser8364 underrated to those who don't know what real music is! This is one of the best ever!
@@MyNamesLike Still people up to this day, produce and mix albuns in stereo.
Since you only have two ears.
I like surround systems in movies better.
Usually, when you bought an album, some songs you liked and some you didn't. Hybrid Theory is the first album in my life that I bought and liked EVERY track. And Crawling was my favourite. Reanimation was the second album that I liked every track, and moving Krwlng to the end of the album and mixing it with the intro track is beyond genius. To this day, still one of the greatest songs I've ever listened to.
I agree with you 100%!!! I have yet to dislike any LP song, and I love all of their songs (impossible to choose a favorite song Lol).
Phenomenol album. This and break the cyle are my 2 albums Tht I love every track on
The year was 2007, I was 15 at the time, I had Nokia 6120 the place was Syria Aleppo, and then I discovered Reanimation Album, it hit me so hard especially this song it was unbelievable how joy, sadness, hope and dreams was all mixed up in my head everytime I listen to this song in the middle of all my teenage depression and fighting to figure out my self it was just a peak of all the feelings that someone can feel at this age, then I toke an oath to my self that I want to meet Linkin Park and just tell them thank you to eas my days of depression, it was just a really wild dream it was not possible until the day I went to Germany, at that moment I knew I could do this, but Chester death was faster than me, I couldn't do what I wanted to do anymore... So at least let me thank you guys here for everything you did to me for all the help for all that great songs who kept me fighting in this life.
❤❤❤what you wished for was wish of many millions but now they left unanswered.
Hello fellow Syrian LP fan, I hope everything in life is going well for you now 🥀
Reanimation changed my life.
me too just that anything else isnt to express w/words
@@brockjones2637 🙏
Mike did superb job mixing this album.
Haven't heard enything like it before and after.
One of my favorite albums and always will be.
Actually, the mixing duty went to none other than Mark "Spike" Stent; Mike's job is primarily as the producer of the album
It’s totally unique. There’s nothing out there to even compare it to. Which other band released a full album of remixes of their own songs?
This song changed my life.
The song that helps me through the hell I'm living.
Thank you Linkin Park for being part of my life.
Preserve this song at any cost! It's a gift to Humankind.
A-men ❤😢❤ amen!
It’s not everyday you come across a group of talented musicians that will one day change the music scene forever, this is one of those groups.
Best version from the reanimation album
That album truly remade my life as a kid
Yessssss!!
I'm actually jealous to those who are just now experiencing the Reanimation songs. I had this album downloaded from Kazaa back in '02. Love seeing people experience the same joy that I did back then!!
Kazaa/Emule/Napster...
Epic era!
@@juggernautgsp5681 Limewire!
Still have my copy till this day
I bought the CD when it came out. Even more tangible feels with the actual CD in hand 💚
I used mIRC to download. At 28kbps it took me around a month to download 😂
Feels like floating by closing my eyes and think about all six from the band member playing this song together.
After 2 suicide attempts this hits different. Still missing Chester. Noone should ever go through inner hell like this. Noone, never. Love, guys, just love. Keep it up whoever reads this comment. I trust that You got this, my friend. I believe in You.
I love u
Im so happy you are still here
Dude I’ve been there too! It’s all about that love man, glad you’re getting through
You are the best!!
this are connecting us as one thnx all 4 love to all
It’s been very hard for me to listen ever since Chester died. I’m forever grateful to my sister for the introduction and taking me to my first concert at 16. Fast forward 20 years later, and here I am still a fan.
I feel this too it hurts listening knowing there won’t be any more, it’s like im scared to hear every song because then I’ll never hear one for the first time again 😢
I know same here I just finally listen to them again last year
Still my fave LP song of all time. My boyfriend played this song for me when we were in yr 11. (age 15). We still listen to it now only, now, he's my husband.17 yrs and this song still means so much to both of us
My favorite song by LP. I'm glad Mike is able to move on. When I heard the news I listened to this song on repeat. I could not believe the news. If Chester could not cry out his pain, that day, I cried it out for him. I've looked up to Chester since preschool when In The End came out. Live forever Chester
Still fresh in 2024
Damn right!
That Chester and Aaron vocal harmony at the end! 🥲
The person who disliked this probably spells it “Lincoln Park”
They haven't taught their phone to stop autocorrecting it to linking park
They spell linkin bizkit
@@otiliafigueira6242 they're a good band but not quite as good as limp park
Have you guys heard their album a thousand bizkits?
Band name actually came from Lincoln Park though
My late sister bought this tape for me and it still hold dearest. It opened my eyes and ears, and will forever remain as one of the 5 influential albums in my life.
0:55 - that build up is superb.
Got chills from the start of the track, this one is soft, calming makes me remember chester singing crawling in the one more light tour
Fua, my heart bro
Love the cinematic feel this has. Heavy breakbeat influences. Aaron sounds solid.
Original, piano version, live, reanimationed, acoustic, THIS SONG IS PERFECTION!🥺 This is so hard to watch, and I always ask myself "why Chester did that to himself?"😭
And A Demo Version Crawling.
Look up his real father John Podesta...an evil man...
Damn, is this an early Christmas present? Outstanding...

Emotional and memories. A group that makes dark thought days golden.
This just brought the chills and the feels. Thanks for making such a monster of a song. Legendary.
In my final year of high school my friend gave me a copy of this album, we listen to it in my car together constantly. Within 4 months of finishing school she took her life and to this day it breaks my heart thinking about it. I’d give anything to see her for the last time again.
I've listened to LP since I was a kid. Crawling is definitely one of the iconic songs they produced. But man this version blew me. Wished I knew this version sooner. Literal chills and goosebumps. LP is GOAT. Also RIP Chester. You guys are the best.
This song is SOOO FREAKING GOOD! The original and the one with Chris Cornell are great, but the added strings and how it builds up over time, the whole thing is just amazing and I love it so much!
Another cool thing I just learned is all of the strings are actually played by real people. I always assumed that they were just digital sounds that Joseph Hahn conjured up on some recording software, but I was wrong. People actually came Into the studio with their instruments and played. Everything is so digital these days, and it was a remix album so I assumed. I was very wrong. They are seriously legit.
@@jevinday that’s always how Mike produces! You should see him on twitch when he makes songs for people
@@jevinday actually Phoenix played the violin ,cello in this song, not other peoples. In Meteora album some songs had background music with strings which were recorded by some people.
Yes, I love the version with Cris Cornell, it's very good, the introduction with the violin is very original, it seems to me that it's like the sound of a movie or something like that and Mike's rap at the beginning of the song
@@abidanjam1234 wow didn't know Phoenix could play those too
This is beautiful. Everytime I hear this version, I cry
Aaron's voice for this intro is sublime. He absolutely nails it and it feels just as magical and haunting as it did almost two decades ago. Thank you GOD, for giving me such an ear for great music, even at 11 years old.
There was something truly magical and eerie about this particular era of Linkin Park. The atmosphere, the visuals, the production, from the electronics all the way to the more experimental sounds, everything about it was such a vibe. Every time I listen to Reanimation I get transported back to that time and to that world. I don't mind the fact that they changed their sound over the years, but I do mind the fact that we lost that vibe, that unique dark, futuristic and mysterious sound.
I first heard this album back in April 2003 in my Army days. I was stationed in Ft. Leonard Wood waiting to be medically discharged; I bought it because the album cover looked awesome.
I listened to this every week while playing Metroid Fusion on GameBoy Advance trying to clear 100% of the game. Now I can’t play that game without wanting to play this entire album. Thank you Linkin Park for this masterpiece and RIP Chester 🕊️
Same here man! I remember jamming Metroid Fusion at this time. Loved these albums. Miss being a kid.
Shinoda The Master❤️
I stopped listening them, since Chester died. A friend of mine made me listen this new reanimation, and now i've kinda rised up again...
This was my song, when i was a teen. This was his scream for help back then...
And still remains my favourite of them all.

Now I'm 33 years old, every time I miss the 2000s I watch Linkin Park videos, especially the reanimation album on UA-cam to treat the nostalgia from that time, I really like this band until now. And I hope to see this band perform again, even if only once, though without chester, even if only through tv or youtube. i miss seeing chester, i miss linkin park.
this song is from 2002?, it doesn't even feel the age, it was so ahead of his time.
When I listen to this it feels like I’m listening to all the memories and legacy of Linkin Park.
- R.I.P. Chester
The original version of Crawling is amazing, but this version? My god this version only improved on perfection. It’s a masterpiece through and through and was an incredible high note to end album on.
Reanimation has been my daily morning routine during my commute to school, I literally memorised every song including the conversation tracks
Spike Minoda..you genius..
Best song of Reanimation, hands down.
Agreed!
Double agreed!
I always visualised this as a concert opening track, with the band appearing onto the stage through a cloud of smoke

Finally everyone are appreciating Reanimation, even my hard core rock people used to hate the album as they felt it wasn't LP enough 😢🙂🤯
Probably my favorite off ReAnimation...Aaron Lewis really added that extra touch...
Goosebumps & tears sametime...We miss you more than earlier Chester!!😢😢
With Chester gone, this hits harder. RIP 🔥
The starting is so melancholic and I love it
2 Decades later... still in awe.
This song being the last track on the album was the end of an era.
Fly high Chester 😔
Their music will never get old. It’s music that will live on forever honestly.
This was a masterpiece the day I heard this back in 2002. Now 20 years later, this track means even more. It’s so crazy that 20 years has literally flown by. This son has carried me through the weight of life…
How does this visual creation not have more views? The slow build-up of the song with the sliding collage of pictures is soooooo siiiick

This is *THE* song of the album. It never fails to hit right in the feels.
The use of scale illusion as their vocals harmonize at the chorus is perfect.
