But this flight isn't just any flight, it's a wet lease that Azores Airlines adds over their busy summer season. And this isn't just any airplane, it's a former Alitalia 777-243 that EuroAtlantic picked up when Alitalia went into bankruptcy. As you'll see, the plane is still sporting the old Alitalia interior! I've flown on a BA (Speedbird) B777- 400 London UK (Heathrow) to Texas, USA (DFW)
Wonderful aircraft, and a smooth and easy 10hr flight.
Same flying back on a BA B787 "Dreamliner" - a stunningly fantastic aircraft IMHO. Quietest and fastest flight I've ever been on.
Azores has been on my wish list. Thanks for the views!
