I’ve been watching Charlie’s story since the beginning. I’ve been a longtime subscriber 10+ years
Proud of you for getting a second opinion. You're great parents.
Those pictures of the stress test broke my heart. He’s a strong guy!
That was awful and so ridiculous and unnecessary. He was way too young for that.
I’ve been around since Evan was a baby. And have always enjoyed keeping up with how you’re all doing!
Praying for Charlie and asking the Lord to strengthen you and family. God bless you.
Thank you Amy sharing Charlie’s heart journey with us. Charlie is a brave and sweet boy 👍
Learning about TOF through your videos was so helpful for me as a nurse.
What a BRAVE little guy!
Thank you for sharing. My 10yo daughter had transposition of the great arteries and open heart surgery at a week old. We’ve had no issues since but her cardiologist is doing a ct scan in the morning just to get a good look at everything and I had no idea how it worked. This is reassuring knowing what we’re going in for. I didn’t realize they did an IV but now I know what to ask for to help with numbing. Best wishes for your little guy.
We are all praying for Charlie!!! Thank you for this awareness 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Prayers and love always! Praying for good news 🙏❤
Thanks for the update. I've been with you all the way back to that scary time when he was an infant. My son was born right before Charlie with a slow resting heart rate and a murmur. We didn't go through anything nearly as entailed as you but it was stressful. My son is 9 and still does a cardiac visit once per year. We have done a modified stress test on him last year at age 8 but it was more of a treadmill and a few leads. Hoping for the best! We still have no idea nine years later why my kiddo has a slow resting heart rate. It's a battle between good and evil for sure knowing how far the push him with the medical testing.
I strongly agree with your statement on putting your kids on youtube. You're clearly not shoving a camera in their faces for attention/ money, you're using your circumstances to help educate others and show what your life is like. My husband has Tetralogy of Fallot and was treated at Le Bonheur in Memphis, TN! His journey looked a little different from Charlie's, as far as I know he was born with his pulmonary valve and they were able to repair it with a Dacron patch. In years past they talked about replacing it when he is older but as time goes on they are not sure if he'll need it. Not sure what part of the country you live in but the cardiology team at Le Bonheur is one of the best in the world, if you're interested in another opinion.
Wow! Thanks for sharing.
You are so calming in your update! I remember those scary times when it was little, praying everything goes smoothly this time around. I 100% think a 2nd opinion is a great idea, and Mayo is a great place for that!
Thank you for posting and sharing your info. I started following you as I have a 4 month old with TOF, your videos were and still are very helpful.
Hope you get the best news possible at your next appointment!
I understand what you are going through all too well, and let me tell you he will be just fine bless him. And you will get past this difficult time sooner than you think. My Son (10) had 3 Open heart surgeries and 3 cath surgeries, and everything that can go wrong happened in a couple of those operations. But we came out the other end and he is doing ok now. I'm proud of my tough and brave children. Like you I have a CHD son and a T1D daughter. They amaze me with their resiliency. Best wishes and prayers to your little one.
You are an amazing mama...you are sharing this for others to learn by what you have had to go thru prayers for all.of you especially Charlie
i hope you get some answers soon on Charlie. he’s a tough kid.
So sorry for Charlie that he hast to undergo all of this even though we know it’s for his own benefit. Let’s hope all goes well with what’s next at the mayo clinic. I’ll be praying for you Charlie - it’s Time for a miracle!
Also so sorry about Charlie I’m praying ❤
I'm so glad it went well. You guys are so strong. I remember you announcing your pregnancy with him in the 2 lies and a truth. LOve you Amy. Thank you for the update. He's Finns online buddy
