  • "T3 Micro SinglePass Curling Iron Review
Trying out new beauty gadgets will never get old, even though I've tried quite a few. There is always new technology on the horizon, and even in my mailbox! Last year, I reviewed the T3 Micro Twirl 360 iron and found it to be a well-rounded product oozing with tech! However, the higher-than-average price didn't sit well with me, and I feel that the T3 offers a more cost-effective option for budget-watchers. In the T3 SinglePass Curl Iron, I was interested to see what's special without the cool auto-rotating and motion-sensing capabilities.
The blinking should stop after a few seconds, which means the iron is ready to use. Between the light array and the start of the power cord, a small notch allows you to twist the base to cycle through the temperature settings, and you can get from 260F or 127C up to 410 F and 210 C.
Here’s the full list of temperature settings for T3 SinglePass Curl Iron
    1 light - 260°F / 127°C
    2 lights - 300°F / 149°C
    3 lights - 350°F / 177°C
    4 lights - 390°F / 199°C
    5 lights - 410°F / 210°C
T3’s user manual recommends the lowest two temperatures for fine, damaged or chemically treated hair. Twisting and holding the knob for a couple of seconds will switch off the iron and will also remember the last setting.
Tech inside T3 SinglePass Curl Iron
The T3 SinglePass comes with a pair of technologies that separate it from the bulk of the sub-$100 clip curling irons. Within this device, there is a special microchip responsible for maintaining the five different heat settings and preventing these set temperatures from fluctuating. This heating technology works in tandem with the iron's glossy ceramic barrel, which T3 calls 'CeraGloss'.
Unlike other irons or multi-styling gadgets with different size barrels, you're limited to one size of curl here. I chose the 1-inch size because I find it to be quite versatile. Leave the curls as they are for a more ringlet-style look, or brush them out for beachy waves!
Overall review: T3 SinglePass Curl Iron
I found that this iron gave me smooth, glossy curls and that it was easy to use. I liked the design as well, and it heated up pretty fast. It's neat to go back to ironing after using so many T3's curling wands, which are great by the way. There's something to be said for only needing one hand to hold your curls until they set!
In short, if you’re looking for a simple, more cost-effective curling iron, the T3 SinglePass iron performs exactly as it promises. It sells for about $169.99 USD and you can get it from T3 or Amazon.
