Kg Baru traditional house consist of long roof house that are typical back then in Selangor (Kuala Lumpur was once in Selangor state) And its kinda sad to see what it has become, theres no effort from both villagers & local government’s 😭
As a Malaysian, i dont think Kg Bharu represents a malay village, it s more like a rundown faux village. Pls go to Perak or Negeri Sembilan or Melaka for normal n typical Malay villages.
Terengganu is a better place for this kind of stuff. but I understand that you won't travel all the way to the east coast for it. just a suggestion if you have more time in the future. try go to the east.
