- To Replace The Volume Button Flex On The Galaxy Samsung S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra you have to take out the Screen from The Frame. There Is No Access from the Backside Of these Models, this is not very Repair Friendly! In This Video We Will Cover The Possibilities For This Task.

Thank you so much. Helped me with the issue I was having. I was swapping out the screen with housing already attached and the housing didn’t come with buttons. I was trying to figure out how to remove those Power button and Volume buttons.

Wait my volume buttons popped out and I lost it, so I can just get them replaced and push them back in? From your video it looks like it's possible without tearing it apart...

Very good info, remind me of when I was doing screen off frame swaps for S20 Galaxy. Only was able to get bare LCD, no frame for a while😳😱😱
Definitely a cheaper option if quality is good.I stopped using aftermarket screens for samsung because bad quality. No fun if 50% are not propper working...

Volume up sticks on s21 ultra. Tried alcohol and not helping. Something sticky inside. Will order a new button and clean the best I can b4 installing new one. TY for helping. Will let you know how it went.

Just the hardware button itself, yes. but not the flexboard behind

Hello, my power button is broken, would getting a new button, and pushing it inside without opening the back cover work?
The broken power button works still, it's just that I have to put tape on it to prevent it from falling.
I have an S21 fe, but I reckon these phones would have some similarity in their structures. Thank you!
the fe version should be no problem, just get that plastik button and push it carefully in.

The button itself, i think yes. But not the flex where the physical button are soldered to.
@irepairitall Thanks! Luckily with mine is was straight forward, the outer case of the button come off and the inside plastic had fell to little pieces so i just had to tidy it up and take the little plastic bits out and just slot the new power button back in 👍

I dropped my phone flat on rocks and thankfully no physical damage happened except the volume keys got stuck, for now I have been using the accessibility menu to adjust volume but it's a pain in the ass to turn your screen on and then adjust it.
yeah thats bad on those models.

@@Robert-vq2np Bob, what was making it stick? When I press volume up it like barely clicks until it gets jammed. On down it works fine,

To pull the buttons out: glue a string or whatever to the button, when the glue hardens, pull the button out. Less damage, probably.

@@irepairitallI used a exacto knife and pried a little on each side and it popped out. Was safer than using a razor blade. The plastic pin on switch was wore out. Now it clicks without sticking.
