      Ever since I did my SMP I’ve felt like more hair has regrown in some spots where it was bald. But I just assumed “that can’t be. I’ve been microneedling once a week at 1.5mm for 6 months with an automated pen. Unfortunately, those new hairs are vellus hairs and won’t grow long at all. I’m going to be taking oral minoxidil starting next week at 1.25mg daily. Hopefully it’ll work. I’ve tried almost everything except a hair transplant. My current regime is 1.25mg oral Finasteride daily and Nizarol 2% 3 times a week. I’m a diffused thinner with no bald spots yet.

    Walmart only had .20mm still got it . Going to see if I see any changes been using rosemary oil this brand called mielles with biotin . Bought some ogx shampoo with biotin . 21 with a somewhat receding hairline still have hairs in the receding areas but very weak growth and light hairs. The rosemary seems to be making them a little more noticeable but going to give .20mm roller a chance until I run out of the ogx shampoo than I’ll buy a .50mm. Obviously rogaine and finasteride is better than rosemary but for the time being I’m banking on the rosemary/dermaroller/OGX shampoo.

      Scar tissue in the skin will feel like you’re trying to push the needles through a hard surface. This would be really obvious if you’re using something like a derma stamp or roller, because it would take a lot more force (even with fresh needles). The few hairs that grow back are veery strange hairs... Weird texture, strange growth direction and pattern, and fall out prematurely bc of the scaring around so many follicles 😔

      @Anne_Onymous Рік тому

      @@summersalix Oh you can most definitely microneedle more frequently. However, the microneedle depth for scarring specifically is very deep and the entire healing process happening under the skin takes at least a month. And because you're dealing with scarred skin, I was more in the mindset of not overworking it if you know what I mean.
      PRF is plasma rich fibrin. They or you take your own blood, spin it in a centrifuge, then take out a certain layer to microneedle or inject into the skin. It's concentrated with growth factors and stuff. Amazing stuff.
      Yeah it's definitely challenging to get pigment to stay in scarred skin.
      If you do have some hairs left, you might even benefit from topical minoxidil if you haven't tried already?
      It's good you're doing red light. I'd def keep it up, even if you don't see obvious visible results!

    Everyone with MPB has scarring all over their scalp! This is the main reason micro needling works soo well. That should me mentioned as well.

    Should i believe hair tips from bald guy?

    • @villa_art
      @villa_art Рік тому +5

      Yes. This is his profession. The reason hes bald is because he has a auto immune disorder called alopecia areata, where your immune system thinks your hair is a foreign substance so it attacks it, causingit to fall out. Hence his eyebrows
