- Sudhanshu Trivedi is an Indian Politician who represents the BJP in the Rajya Sabha as a member from Uttar Pradesh. Trivedi is an engineer by education and holds a PhD. in mechanical engineering. The national spokesperson of the BJP is known for oratorial skills in both English and Hindi. His sharp wit is often enhanced with poetry and couplets.
Trivedi is one of the best debaters in the country on Indian history, culture mythology and politics and has a huge fan following in Indian households be it through live television debates or through clips on social media.
Trivedi has been handling the media interaction for the BJP for years and had worked with the media team of BJP during 2014 elections. Prior to that, Trivedi worked as an information advisor to the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Rajnath Singh and was also political advisor to Rajnath Singh when he served as BJP's national president.
In this edition of ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Sudhanshu Trivedi talks about the opposition INDIA alliance and accuses the Congress party of having an entitled attitude that forced the opposition to boycott certain News Anchors. He also speaks about the Sanatana Dharma controversy and explains Dharma, Hindutva, and Hinduism. He also clarifies on there being no difference between India and Bharat and how the constitution speaks of both in the same breath.
Trivedi explains how the British used Caste to divide Indian society that had existed peacefully in a homogenised way for centuries. He comes down heavily on dynasts in politics alleging that they have been just ensuring their own good instead of serving the people.

I am from TN don't understand Hindi much but to the extend what ever I understood from English conversation and small Hindi understanding it's very detailed interview, some one BJP should translate in to Tamil and share in the social media so that people in TN will understand the TN parties hypocrisy and their colonial mind set. As a Tamilian, I'm so impressed with Sudhansh ji's grasp on nuances of Tamil culture. As a Bharatanatyam dancer, I was so happy with the way he spoke about the Nataraja statue.

While I'm a fan of smita Prakash's interviewing style and ethics, I've lately begun to observe that sometimes she cuts off the interviewee in between to make her point or ask something... It's probably so that she doesn't forget to make the point she's trying to make before the line of thought changes..
I feel this isn't how she used to do it earlier.. She used to let them finish their train of thought before asking the next question.. It is just recently.. Probably a last couple of podcasts...otherwise her podcasts are an absolute delight....

This is the BEST episode from Smitha Prakash. This must be translated in all languages of Bharat and made accessible to all school and college students. It's 99 minutes of sheer joy and enlightenment. Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi is not only an authority on भारतीयता and सनातन धर्म but he has par excellence power of expression. I could never learn so much about सनातन ethos in my 67 year of life span that I learnt in these 99 minutes. A must watch for every one who seeks truth.

You must have been watching a different podcast to the rest. He totally manipulated the truth to suit his politics. There were several outright lies, convenient sidestepping and carte blanch espousal of his narrative unchecked. Two instances of Pegasus and deflecting parliamentarians was allowed to slide without being pushed. It was a cakewalk for him! A more erstwhile journalist like Karan Tappar would exposed his archilles heel.

What a wonderful interview by Sudhanshu Trivedi ji. I want to put one of my point on discussion on 'India vs Bharat' where Smita ji doesn't want to listen, or incapable to grasp the wide definition of Bharat, and continuously interrupting with illogical questions.
1. India word is a Greek word, came from Europe. Foreign identities just used this word in ancient times as 'Racism'. India..not based on Indus but from indico, because at that time Britishers have been taking so much profits from indico farming. So this word India is not ours.
2. Bharat, jambudeep, Bhartavarsh all these are one, referred in our old shastra also. There should be no doubt that our country has been 'Bharat' only not India.
3.Bharat already existed before vascodigama came, before portugees, Dusches, Britishers came. There should not be doubt that they only found this place and named it India. We have our own history, we should be proud of it.
4. Bharat has been always the centre of spirituality. It was 'golden sparrow' सोने की चिड़िया from where they got good sources, funds, resources etc. They attacked on our education system, they attacked on our culture, traditions.. And from ancient times, our विद्धवान ज्ञानी used to be shruta only, where they learn, teach via shruti.. Only listening.. But foreign identities didn't understand all this. From there only religion transformations, Hindu culture destruction, Dravidism came in Bharat. They attacked on our culture via modernism. Where people are shameful on our own sanskriti but proud on others and easily brainwashed.
5. in today's time, imo there is a ideology that which is New & Modern- that is good, cool, compliments only. But which is Old- that is Orthodox. Which is completely baseless. We should always keep our eyes, ears open for everything.
Our diversity is our beauty, our culture is our proud. We are Bhartiya. ❤ Jai Hind!

When ever I hear Dr. Trivedi, I’m left spellbound by his shear knowledge and elocution. It pinches me from within and makes me realize how less I know of myself and my culture and my country. He rightly pointed out that by just knowing English alone cannot make us learned. He rightly pointed out that the young generation have stopped reading various books especially our mythological books. He is an expert in correlating our several mythological beliefs with modern science and is very particular in mentioning references too for better understanding of the listeners. .
