Your airport stats @1:22 show the planes are half empty and you have no inbound passengers, only outbound. My thoughts on this are to increase city attractiveness to lure more tourists. That incoming traffic might boost your airport to a point it starts making money.
Thanks for the insight! I didn't even think to check inbound vs outbound. That's one thing we haven't really dove into yet with this build. Tourism. I think next week we will try to incorporate our first tourism district.
Thanks for the comment! When I was there I accidentally ended up driving all the way down cedar springs fallowing the creak/ river there and discovered that whole area. I was thinking of that area when I came up with this idea. Would have probably came out a little better if I introduced a little more spacing similar to how it is there with the hotels.

How about ‘Martin Brinkley’ for uptown. The song ‘Uptown Girl’ was inspired by Christie Brinkley. Martin is Billy Joel‘s middle name. I know it’s not a rock theme name but he is a rock star. ⭐️
With the foliage backyards of the high density in the uptown area. Might be nice to have a little bit of open grass space and a little bench and garbage bin. When you’re living in an apartment building having a little patch of grass to take your dog to his highly desirable.

This is how i have build my city on Diamond Coastline Map.1.Level terain in height of highway aces,big enough for 5x5 squares in upper left corner.2.Make distance between highway and four lane road by 8 units(cm).3.Make 25 squares 18x18 inside square made of four lane road,you should get 12 two line roads conecting to four lane road,and four squares 18x18 in each corner for park DLC.4.Conect middle square closer to highway with two two lane roads.5.Make identical city block on right side of highway,and 21 units(cm) of distance between two city blocks.6.Uder right city block,make identical city block,with same distance between previous block,and keep on going until you make 3rd block close to bay.7.Put highway between four lane roads at distance of 8 units(cm),by leveling up two lane road into highway.8.Conect each corner of square made of four lane road by four lane bridge.9.Instede roundabout make conection of two road with two lanes on oposite sides of the highway by conecting middle square on two pedestrian crossings.10.First highways that goes right under right city block,must have two way highway conection in shape of letter Y or T for shortened trips.11.Devide all 18x18 squares closer to four lane road to residental rectangulars.12.Put pedestrian path in distance of 2 units(cm) from two line road on each side,and build high density skyscrapers 2x2 in size,ad 2 units(cm) distance between all skyscrapers.13.Fill up empty 2x2 squares with short pink trees,and 3 short pines in the middle of pedestrian path.14.Second ring after residental ring is full of high density and low density shops,size of each is 4x4,and pedestrian path between them that makes 15 units(cm) in total,and noise polution is just 12%.15.Their are offices of the same size.16.Hospital is located in the central 18x18 square,on distance of 4 units(cm) from small road,post office is in middle behind hospital,pedestrian paths around hospital,trees between pedestrian paths(park DLC ).17.On left and right side of hospital are Police and Fire HQ's.18.Pattern of shops goes high density on left and right,and low in the middle.19.Their are four elementary schools,each located on 3rd rectangular,wright in middle,on all four sides of the city block.20.High Schools are just two,one behind,and other infront of hospital.21.The land between sea and other city blocks is leveled in few different highs,so that 3 different hights are fited for organic shops,low residental,post office sorting facility,and cruise harbor.22.Taxi stands are on each park 18x18 square,and bus stops only at central 18x18 square.
