Number 10 is definitely a big one for me to relate to with going to the gym for the last 2 years and always feeling down about how others are huge. but I have learnt to appreciate life more and stop doing the comparisons as I have seen how I have changed from the last 2 years with my own progress. everyone does go through some problem and that's ok❤ This video was super helfpul✍🙏
As a young woman very new to the gym I struggle with this a lot and I just wanted to let you know you guys are super encouraging and I really appreciate you!
I used to go to a YMCA that was recently built and is actually a damn good gym, like they consulted with a bodybuilder for the equipment. But my God, so many naked old men walking around the locker room, I thought they were literally trolling us younger guys.
If next week you start feeling the urge to be naked in the locker room for some reason, just know it's normal for people over the age of 65 to have those feelings 😂😂😂
Thanks bro, I have been going to the gym for a year now, this month is actually my first 1 year anniversary and I'm so proud I didn't stop. Thanks to you, I have been working hard and long. I even went from 90kg to 77kg since earlier this year. Now, I'm trying to build muscle and learn to cook properly so I can improve my diet. Wish me luck.
Congrats man! Starting is always the hardest part of anything. If I can impart any wisdom, don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are what force us to learn and grow. Looking back at my life now I wish I made more mistakes instead of seeking comfort and playing things safe. Be adventurous and curious and good things will keep coming your way!
I've been going to the gym for 4 months now, and whilst I'm loving the challenge and feeling better, I do get frustrated due to not being able to do every exercise (i can't supernate my left hand). A few days ago I was doing chest press, and a buddy came over to tell me i was messing up, and it killed some of my motivation because I felt like I was progressing on it (weights improving). I'm not planning on stopping but keeping that motivation has been really hard for me lately. I've been sick all my life and this is the first time I've ever used my body really, so everything feels hard. Your videos always motivate me and even when I'm at the cusp of stopping they help me carry on. It's really hard to find the correct advice online, and personal trainers are too pricey. I'm going to do the best I can do and I just want to thank you for always giving content like this for free. I don't know why I'm ranting in here I guess this has been on my mind lol
Hi noel, I started working out(at home, cant afford a gym membership) about mid august. I have a pull up bar, two 10lb dumbbells, and one 25lb dumbbell. Your videos have helped me get through the day not only when I work out, but also just in general even before I started working out. I might be a slight masochist, since I love sore muscles and apparently that isn't a normal thing, but that's besides the point. Thanks for making videos and helping other people get through their days. Also, as a true gym bro, I've been skipping out on leg days since I hate squats and don't have any machines. Going to save up money and get a basketball hoop and ball for my driveway, so hopefully that will help my overall physique and maybe even my legs a bit.

After watching some of your videos, I've started spending less time on my phone and doing daily home workouts. Thank you so much, dude. You've changed my life for the better ❤ Without you, my life could have been ruined.
Thank you so much Noel, ive been doing kickboxing for 2 years and havent seen to much progress and started stepping my workouts up and doing weightlifting. And ive followed you for a while now and youve been my biggest inspiration.
Neol you are the perfect spokesperson for anyone who is new to training. I've been training for 8+ years now and everything you said is true. Please keep with these types of videos because with your reach within the fitness industry you can make a huge difference!
Hi noel! I've watching your channel for a little while now and im very glad I find you. You are like a gym dad and I don't really have any friends I can talk in depth about my workout with so I thought I'd do it here! I workout at home because I'm 16 disabled and chronically I'll so I feel safest here and I made quite a few mistakes when trying in the past to sustain a workout routine: - I didn't drink enough water and I'm extremely sweaty so I got dehydrated very quickly -I usually forgot to eat or even refused to eat because I didn't feel I deserved it until I saw progress -I went into exorcise out of self hatred and let it be the only reason I was working out -and one of my worst mistakes of all, I kept pushing and pushing until collapse and immense pain to the point that each time I couldn't continue the next day even if it was what I called 'light' (I was lying to myself because I didn't want to face the fact that I was weak) But because of quite a few things I improved. Earlier this year I find an anime called Mob Psycho 100 and watch it to the end. I cry. I laugh. And I get inspired by the body improvement club of the anime. So, out of nowhere on a random Tuesday I do a random mix of exorcises. And I feel amazing!!! I was going through a lot at the time and in that moment exercising didn't make me sad any more. It helped me find peace that night. So I took that and knew I had to make a change. Drinking more water, two three of those large Pepsi Max brand glasses minimum per day. Eating either a little before or immediately after exorcise and recognizing that I deserve food regardless of where I am physically in term of progression. Instead of self hatred I started working on self improvement. I knew I was weak, really accepted it, and started working to see a change in that. I got rid of all expectations because whenever I went into exorcise with expectation it got horribly warped. Eventually I'll be able to make a reasonable goal , and I'm already halfway there! And while in this transformative time of my life I found your channel. It inspired me, I felt happy that you existed and were so kind and gentle with encouragement. I looked at some of the tips you had and figured out how to apply them to my workouts. And just when I was scared I'd give up like before you saved me without even knowing. Sometimes I don't even want to do my routeen, but I see your videos while I'm scrolling and then I get up and immediately getting the weights. It's been six weeks since I started now and I'm doing amazing. Remembering to go slow, working up too doing more at my own pace, keeping in mind my limits without feeling ashamed or unsafe because of my own self destructive history, and genuinely finding happiness in getting physical! Sorry for going on kind of a long rant, I'm a little lonely right now and don't have anyone close to me that I can Yap to about this.
I started going to the gym to lose weight about a month ago after a break up. Your videos have always inspired and motivated me to not only strive to be healthier but to always look at things in a positive note. Thank you!
I'm being truly consistent for the first time in my years of going. Slow progress and being patient while being ADHD is my final boss lol, but we're getting there. Loving the journey. Thanks Noel!
I'm not a gym bro, but a gym sister and I appreciate all of your advice. It's the most truthful, and sincerest I've ever heard. I'm 50 years old and its taken me the majority of my life to fully grasp and understand how my body works. Unfortunately, due to several challenges I'm facing with both nerve pain, not having a gallbladder (which greatly impedes my metabolism), and depression it can be a bit daunting. I've been guiltin of doing all of the things your stated here. I've since moved away from that for the very reasons you've said: we're all different and our bodies react to weight training differently as well. Right now, I'm struggling with ridding excess weight due to metabolic changes from not having a gallbladder. What has still remained the same is that my body responds best to high amounts of protein and low carb veggies. Your words help so much. Thank you very much for sharing your kindness and experience. I truly appreciate it. Much love to you from CT, USA.
Over 40, take couple weeks off in a row each year. It was so hard for me to accept, but I was stalling out at 42, took a month off and bounced back in 3 weeks and started gaining again.
Great advice as always. At one point along my journey I was in a bad living situation, in an unsafe place, and it affected my mental health, and then I injured myself at the gym, because I didn’t take enough time to rest, because the gym was the only place I felt safe. Two years after, I’m still trying to figure out what I can and cannot do safely. You can’t put a price on your own wellbeing and health. Listening to your body, and resting is so important.
I think you should add one in, injuries happen, don't train through them get the right treatment and rehab to come back stronger then before. That niggling shoulder pain could lead to something more serious like a pec tare or alike so if something doesn't feel right....listen to your body. Back off, seek treatment and rehab. Great tips though Noel as always :)
Thanks Noel, one of the reasons you are inspiring and gaining such a huge following is no doubt because of the humility in which you deliver what is a lifetime of experience and knowledge. You genuinely want to help and it shows. Thanks boet!

Maaaaan, Noel you're a lifting and great human inspiration. Your advice helps me keep a level head as I work to improve myself. Keep it up! I'll be here watching and learning!!!
When you think about it, we don't go to the gym to build muscle, we go to break it ( mechanical stress, ripping and tearing muscle tissue in a controlled manner). Muscle building happens when the body finishes repairing, that only happens when we're resting.
Love you Noel. Even as someone who has been going for years that last one is definitely the hardest one. Don't compare yourself to others just focus on you.
i started working out for real a year ago, and I compare my mindset from back then to my mindset now, and I would back then say that most of this advice blows cause it can't be that simple. But a year later I know that it is that simple, the hard part is sticking to it for longer than a month or so. This is great and helpful advice and I wish people would just accept that it is that simple, but they just have to persevere.
Hi Noel. I am really glad I came across your channel. This is one of the only spaces on the internet where I get some support in times when I really feel unconfident. Thank you so much for this work!
I’m a female gym member. So glad I’m not a bro. Men have a higher standard when it comes to building muscle. It requires consistency, mental strength, and a diet of MEAT. As a female I started seeing amazing results when I began to eat 80% meat with a green salad. Meat and eggs are the best source of protein.
Not gonna lie you are my biggest motivation and inspiration in the gym, love you and your videos so much! You are a huge and amazing influence on me and so many others. Also that old man thing was so real💀
Thank you Noel, I started a membership last September 26 and it was on impulse, Really. I have never seen my go to the gym alone. But, I started a journey to find me and the gym Has really helped a lot even though it hasn't been a month but I started seeing improvements on my emotional wellbeing and my over all health(even though I WAS a long time smoker) and this helped me quite a lot, and at first I brought a rag and alcohol to clean up after myself but noticed that my gym has a rag and a disinfectant to use for yourself after your set. So it really boosted my confidence to be one with the gym and the people that use it. Thank you for clarifying the importance of rest days, I workout 6 days and my restday is sunday and I feel good but I feel like I need to do more but as you said, It's in our genetics. I'll try to solely focus on my weakness and up it into par with my strengths. Thank you
Im trying to start the gym and get fit because Im trying to join the New Zealand Defence Force. Im gonna volunteer as a firefighter as well because it supposedly gets you fit as well. This has helped me sort out some pointers on starting, and a free gym in the defence force will definitely be used to its fullest potential because of influencers like you helping out. Thanks mate, keep it up and I'll try to as well.
hey Noel, it has been a month since I started going to the gym and gained about 7lbs. Been looking forward to going to gym and it’s all thanks to you! 💪🖤
This is wonderful. Especially the last one. I have been training hard for the past twenty years. My goals are a moving target. I miss them, or achieve them, and goals get readjusted. While I train regularly, it's not my money maker. I also like eating at restaurants and having a glass or two (or 3) of wine with dinner. The crowd at my gym are really over the top. Lots of NYC influencers, adult performers and models. There's one guy who is the absolute picture of perfection. Walks with a swagger and makes everything look effortless. He is my motivation, in a non-creepy way. But talking to him, he's one of the most insecure people I've ever encountered. Pointing out body flaws that he thinks would disappoint Michelangelo. Far too harsh on himself, and a bit socially inept. It's massively unappealing to listen to someone who has these kinds of hangups. This is the kind of thing common to hear from women, but it's even more grating hearing it from a guy who could easily be on the cover of Mens Health.
Thank you for this video, it can get discouraging from time to time but we need to keep our wets on the prize and for the long run not a short gain. Thanks again bro
After 1 Year. i will go back to this video and my comment to show this to my friends that "This guy got me motivated to be fit and be a better version of my self." long way to go.
Noel I love how you talked about protein powder and how it shouldn’t be the main source of protein, but more importantly i thought it was really humble of you to not boast about ryse as the one and only alternative but to recognize it as a boost of protein. So many influencers see their product as the exception and won’t hear any other opinions about it. So once again props to you for being down to earth about what nutrition really is.👏🏻😉
i feel like a just got a big hug from daddy noel 😢 thanks man.your attitude is what i aspire to be once i pass my test and become a certified personal trainer.im not confident and this is taking me way way more time than it should but im not going to stop trying.thanks noel
Number 10 bro thanks so much. It is so true. I have had these problems, and i can be too hard on myself, but thanks for these videos lobe ya man. I will not tell you my age because you will thinknthatni am lying, but thanks so much
Thanks alot man u really helped, I've been going for the gym for like 7 weeks and today finished my training and just looked into the mirror and hated it, thought maybe this game not for me, i mean I'm eating good and sleeping good and have 2 rest days and still don't see difference, i hope i see some in the future and don't drop out
Great advice, I’m 20 and number 10 is my favorite tip because I’m a tall dude and I hate it and have skinny legs but I try my best to not let height limit me, keep grinding kings 👑
I like how the camera keep alternating between front and angled shot and sometimes a slide presentation to keep my Tiktok attention span in check, great work.
10# made me feel different now, cause in my school noone went to gym so we all were either skinny or fat, now that I'm in an uni in a different country, the freshers who came with me are big, toned etc... I felt down, worried girls won't even notice me in their presence. but I'm glad that I joined gym yesterday and it assured me that I can be good in my own way. I felt nervous that it would be crowded and it was, but at the end of the day, i got used to the crowd. Glad I dont have to regret not going to gym now.
Thanks Noel, this was very helpful especially since I always want to like some other people. But this helped me realize that my body and genetics are unique and I should be proud of that. keep it up, you are one of my favorite bodybuilders
My dream is to be a boxer and ive started training harder because of your advice i feel happy that im not just sitting around all day doing nothing anymore i feel great it truly pays off
I just started my fitness journey almost 3 months ago, and let me tell you, that first week is brutal, both physically and mentally. I was defidently guilty of a few of these. But so far its been worth it. When I started, I was skinny-fat at 189lbs, but now I'm at an athletic build at 170 lbs. and the best part is that now the gym is no longer something that I just have to get through, but something I'm actually beginning to enjoy, which I didn't think was possible for the longest time. The Gym is not just a hobby, its a lifestyle change.
Wish you would do more training videos, i like having those type of videos so i feel like someone is training with me, i cant afford to go to a gym or weights so i am stuck in a tiny camper using calisthenics and resistance bands for a form of training and i truly miss being in an iron gym
ive just started, 2 weeks in, had to stop because of school and during this time period ive noticed my body getting bigger its not much but there's progress
Thanks you for you video I really enjoyed and I hope you will continue a very long time this type of video makes me feel better so thanks you ❤ from France
hey Mr deyzel this video has helped me a lot I mean not yet but I think it will I just started to work this the hardest I have ever push myself and I feel great because of it
All the points you brought up were definitely on-point (no pun intended). Even as someone who has been lifting for quite awhile, I too fall under the trap of not taking enough rest days at times and my nutrition can also get derailed on some days. These tips and pointers will defintely and hopefully set up the way for new lifters. I wished I had someone tell me backthen. All we had were Muscle mags and Arnold's Encyclopaedia of Modern Bodybuilding. And Pumping Iron for motivation haha

Thank you! I needed this. You're a savior of our mental & physical health ♥
hey Noel, it has been a month since I started going to the gym and gained about 7lbs.
Thanks man I really needed this video to stay in track
"Skibidi Toilet" Bout to hit the gym up again after a few years. You inspire me, I appreciate you Noel!
Could you maybe do a video on warm up exercises for each muscle group would really help me a lot, keep up the good work Noel you smashing it 👊💪
Thank you bro!
Your videos are always helpful, just keep going ❤
Mr.Neol you are the perfect person to watch about gym and physique at my opinion. Respect from Greece!!!
i love you daddy noel, i'm not a beginner but it's always helpful to review the basics. I absolutely adore your videos!
Straight to the point, no bs. Motivation acquired!

Continue being consistent and wait 6-8 months
This video helped a lot I now know not to feel bad about myself when I see some one who has a better physique then me
Great advice, I’m 20 and number 10 is my favorite tip because I’m a tall dude and I hate it and have skinny legs but I try my best to not let height limit me, keep grinding kings 👑

Bro that’s some kind words. Thanks for being a down to earth guy, giving decent advice
Great advice. I shared with my sons who go to the gym with me 🙌
These are great reminders for someone who has been lifting for around 15 years
I’m an intermediate lifter & really appreciate this video.
Thank you so much dost. I m appreciate your all kind words. And you are one of my inspiration. Thank you ❤
Youre truly an inspiration
This video deserve waaaaaaaay more views
Great video, Noel!
My dream is to be a boxer and ive started training harder because of your advice i feel happy that im not just sitting around all day doing nothing anymore i feel great it truly pays off
I love you daddy Noel. You’re my biggest inspiration and now I have a big chest from going to the gym. Keep going man! Love from Canada.
Thanks Daddy Noel, I love that you're always caring about mental wellbeing and keeping our feet on the ground.
I absolutely love this video and i will make sure to learn more from you. Thank you brother ❤❤
Now I really understand 😮....thank u so much!
This really helped a lot 🙌🏻❤️
thanks noel ❤🩹
Wish you would do more training videos, i like having those type of videos so i feel like someone is training with me, i cant afford to go to a gym or weights so i am stuck in a tiny camper using calisthenics and resistance bands for a form of training and i truly miss being in an iron gym
ive just started, 2 weeks in, had to stop because of school and during this time period ive noticed my body getting bigger its not much but there's progress
Thanks you for you video I really enjoyed and I hope you will continue a very long time this type of video makes me feel better so thanks you ❤ from France
Boy oh boy went to gym for the first time yesterday (oct28,24) and it was great, wonder where I'll be in future.
hey Mr deyzel this video has helped me a lot I mean not yet but I think it will I just started to work this the hardest I have ever push myself and I feel great because of it
1:12 i love how he always think About His feet😂😂
Thank you Mr Noel ❤
Hi noel, I'm starting my gym journey today thanks for this❤
All the points you brought up were definitely on-point (no pun intended).
That was an amazing video Noel! But oiling up when?
Last one is life saver !!
Good day noel, this really helped- thank you.
i love these long form vids
Your contente is fire bro keep going
hey noel, i know you dont remember me but i remember you replied to one of my comments one day a couple of years ago when your channel was still preatty small. back then i used to go to the gym almost every day and i had my life together. now its been a year and a half, i dont go to the gym, i eat like shit, i gained 50 pounds of fat and i live like a bum on the frameless bed thats on the floor, also i kinda teared uo a bit while watching your last video. i really want to change how i go with my day but i dont have the willpower to do so. btw i live in lubbock texas and hearing that you moved here brings me so much joy and i really want to meet you someday but maybe i wont i guess well see. anyways i dont even think your gonna see this but if you do, please let me know how you feel maybe its gonna be the tipping stone thatl help me get a hold back on my life. but yeah your content has been my favorite ever since like you started so please keep it up noel, we love you ❤
Great video noel👌
I love your content!
