Long time no video I know!
The end of 2020 was crazy with me getting a new pet and moving to a new home.
In this video, I ramble a lot about my love with the Peekaboo style and give my honest opinion about the pros and cons.
The opinions in this video are my own and hope they are useful to anyone considering the purchase of any of the beautiful handbags that I review.
The fluffly that I use during storage to keep the structure of my peekaboo selleria is from the Instagram Account: Mygrandfathersthings.
It comes in different sizes to accomodate the variety of Chanel classic flaps and minis. Mine is in size medium (it fits a Chanel reissue and medium large flap bag). I also use a size small for my BV padded cassette bag.

I wish they'd come out with the brown leather for the original iconic, not just the essentially line. We pay so much for these bags that I would never settle for less than my desired combo 🤷🏻♀️

Yes! I love my peekaboos. The light pink and the black are regular size.
May I ask you about your feelings about the glazing on these bags? Thank you 😊
The glazing doesn’t bother me because it’s well executed and it is not very thick. Actually, glazing the edges takes longer to perform to the craftmen because they have to keep applying it in layers and filing the surface to make it as even as possible so it shouldn’t be viewed as something denoting lower quality. It is a pretty common technique in leather craftmanship and difficult to avoid these days, but whenever you buy a bag, the glazing should be one more point to check the same way as you would check the stitching and the hardware for example. If it is not aesthetically pleasing, you can always go for a darker color and it will be less visible. Thanks for watching 😘
Thank you for your response. I just experience the glazing to wear of specially on the handles while the rest of the bag keeps in good shape. In other words on my experience (not Fendi bags) is the glazing that shows first the ware and tear and just wanted to know about your experience with Fendi.
@@patriciaquintela899 so far i can say the finish of the Fendi peekaboo handles is better than for example the handles in the Celine 16 bag and I have carried my peekaboos quite a lot for work so I can say they are high quality ( I would fit a surface pro laptop in my peekaboo so ive carried weight in it too). A way to fix the wear and tear is to use a twilly/silk scarf around it as the handles are delicate specially these days with hand sanitisers which is not a good combo to use with leather products.

@@Takochan29 you should buy from a consignment store that you can trust and there are also companies that authenticate bags online with photos of the item so that is an extra step you could take for peace of mind. If the website looks fishy or you are not sure, do not buy it.

Well, its tricky because all preloved websites have issues so its not a perfect world. Id say Fashionphile or Vestiaire Collective and for vintage Mygrandfatherthings in instagram. But pls do your due diligence. There can be scams anywhere so i suggest you always double check the authenticity of the item you buy and if something is off, do not buy.
