Same thing happened to me today but backwards. I was in a pack with someone and we were both growing rexes. I was a juvi and the other person was sub adult and out of nowhere a full grown allo pops out from the trees and runs straight through the sub adult rex. Luckily it was just the admin running around and not a hungry player, haha
I’ve done that to several packs/herds. The best one was a pack of carnos smack talking a lone sucho along lazy river. They where too busy trash talking and spam calling by the time they saw me I already was biting down. Dummies where standing side by side so I got a 3 in 1 meal that I let the sucho eat one of the bodies. 🤣 It’s a shame recording is broke or glitched on my game, it would have been hilarious to have the video proof.
The Rex wasn’t hungry so why would it actively hunt? Wouldn’t it be more likely that the predator would try and intimidate the predators off it’s territory and if they didn’t back down then kill the weaker predators? Also I could be reading WAY too much into this, but that’s very unlikely.
