I just made this, and it's incredibly delicious! I am gluten intolerant, but still remember and miss the taste and texture of good bread. This is better than any store bought gf breads I've tried! It's not exactly like wheat bread, but doesn't need to be 🙌🏽 the texture and taste are fantastic!
@@Lalairu I bet if you split the recipe in half and make two half-sized breads you could get a great sandwich bread without having to cut down the middle to put stuff between. Maybe cut into quarters or so, it could make for decent-sized sandwich bread slices. Of course you'd have to adjust cooking time appropriately for the size difference. And whether or not this would cause other issues, I have no idea. Can't wait to try this recipe myself, first I just need to get some gluten free yeast. Also curious to know if it works just as well with whole grain brown rice flour. That's what my body prefers. I'd be willing to do 50/50 if it helps the recipe turn out well though.
actually did it today, I got a little trouble with the dough because it rose too much and my cast iron skillet was too small, but overall it was delicious and crunchy, thanks for sharing this amazing recipe
Watching you cooking is a therapy. Such a calming and relaxing video. Anyway, I am always amazed by the result. It looks so yummy. Give so much love from Indonesia. 🥰😍
Just curious, do you think it would work just as well with just about any plant-based milk? And do you guys usually use full fat coconut milk or the strained and skimmed kind of coconut milk with less fat?
life is so great and I thank god for being alive. I'm watching an incredible video from the other side of the globe that was posted 20 seconds ago. It also made me really hungry😊😊👌👌👌
Amazing cooking skills and delicious recipe looks delicious and tempting thanks for sharing such an awesome recipe stay connected and stay blessed ❤ dear
This seems similar to a snack we have in Nigeria called Masa. We normally eat it with suya which is our version of meat barbecue. Absolutely delicious!
I love it!! I've been looking for a recipe this simple and without an oven and yours seemed excellent. Greetings from Mexico, a hug. Thank you for sharing.
This awesome. I’m gonna try this today. Just gotta find rice flour. Also that rubber condom for the bowl is awesome. I don’t like using cling wrap because it’s a waste.
This bread is delicious! The crust comes out like the crispy layer on the bottom of the pot when you make rice. This is loved by people in cultures like mine. The bread is fluffy and light and tastes wonderful. I used 4 grams of salt instead of 3.
I've never had a "crispy layer on the bottom" of any rice dish I've produced. Whether I'm preparing rice to eat with a curry or rice pudding to eat as a desert, if I had a crispy bit on the bottom I'd call that "burned". Which way do you make rice?
@@KenFullman I use basmati rice and put some olive oil in the bottom of a heavy pan, add rice, saffron, salt and water. Bring it to a boil and then put 2 layers of paper towels on top and cover with a heavy lid. Turn down heat to a 3 (on electric stove) steam for 20 minutes. Take lid off and turn rice to the crusty parts up and add a bit more oil. Replace paper towels and lid and steam about 10 minutes or so more. It never burns that way. I have heavy stainless steel cookware.
@@oklahomaisok Thanks. That's a new way to me. I do something similar except, every so often I just tip the pan slightly. Then by the sound I can tell if the water has all been absorbed. It then gets turned out into a serving dish as soon as it reaches that stage. So should I let it cook a bit longer to get the crispy bit deliberately?
this is fluffy like a sponge. delicious like heaven . beautiful like Venus. you are the best chef.🖤💗😋 please next recipe make donuts 🍩please 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 lots of love to you

@@KenFullman Hi! You can absolutely eat it on i'ts own, with butter or savory/sweet dishes. I would say rice flour it's pretty neutral tasting, and the oil you use will make a difference. It tastes a bit toasty (?) because the surface ends golden brown as you see there, sorry English isn't my mother language. the texture is surprisingly good also. I hope you give it a try, tell me what do you think about it :) Happy Christmas!
@@LalairuThank you so much for your reply. I found it totally understandable. I now have a very good idea of what it would it would taste like. I will, indeed, give it a try.
I've just made it and ate it all 😀. It was delicious. I baked it in the oven at 170 C for 20 min and it turned out perfect.
