I don't need to worry about bringing books to college because I'm still going to be living at home. But if I was going far away I'd need to take all my books with me,I'd feel bad leaving them in my room all by themselves! :P

+Gothy Witchy It wasn't in mine! But then again mine is kinda small, although pretty much that happened with ACOTAR- I went to check when it was coming out but ended up getting it from the backstore and it was signed even though it was at least 20 days before it was due to come out!
I pre-ordered mine from the website, but sometimes my Waterstones pre-order deliveries are a bit temperamental, some will come a few days before it's out publicly,, sometimes I get it a day after or on the day of release, or it takes 4/5 days to ship!
Up in Greater Manchester, but I asked the cashier today when I was in that pre-ordered books are sent from the warehouse rather than your nearest shop, so I could be getting mine around the release date, it's only a few more days until it's out though, I'll cope! :P

I hope you have the best time at college! I'm kinda glad I didn't have to do this when I started university. At most Australian unis you don't live on campus, so I'm at home with my parents and all of my books.
You should definitely do a college bookshelf tour when you're settled and have the time :)
I'm going to start my studies at university in Berlin, so I'll be moving there this fall. I'm taking all my furniture and stuff with me. Thank God I don't have to leave some books behind :D
Love that you're not gonna stop reading when you go to school! Just make sure class work is a priority! I have my trusty HP series, Anna and the French Kiss, and Amy and Rogers Epic Roadtrip for my old favorites and on my TBR pile I have the Winners Curse and Cinder
I wish you the best at college, your first year is like nothing else! Just make sure to enjoy your first year experience and don't focus too hard on reading everything that you're bringing. Your subscribers will be understanding if you're not reading at the same pace as you have been!

Hey Sasha! Just wanted to share something with you. I'm about to be a junior in college now..but I was/am an avid reader (reading 12-15 books a month) but when I entered college for the first time, that quickly changed. It would be months and I hadn't read a book! I hope you aren't too hard on yourself with reading because the transition from high school to college is difficult and you will be sooo busy and the days will just fly by! Enjoy college life and I hope you thrive as a college student.. Just don't be too strict with yourself and focus on having fun! :)

I started college this week. I definetly brought my babies. Not a lot but the ones I cant live without. Private peacefull, and Soilder X, The tale of Despereaux, and touching spirit bear. Awsome books.

I agree. Throne of Glass. Best covers ever. I have them in hardcover and they do look beautiful on my shelf. They are one of the few books where it's ok to keep the dustjacket on.
I can't get over how gorgeous they are! I have the UK editions but I also want the U.S ones

+Jasmine Dubois I like the U.K. editions better (though, i'm probably biased beacuse i live in the uk) but I can see the allure of the US covers!
Impossible Girl some books in the U.K. have better looking covers than the U.S. editions. I love the U.K.
Bringing books that you love to college is a very good idea. My first semester of college, I brought the Harry Potter series (my absolute favorite series, it helped me through my sisters death) and it really helped me feel at home and comfortable.

When I toured Emerson(which is amazing by the way) my tour guide told me that there was a quidditch team and they practice in the commons and I screamed. I literally screamed right in the middle of the tour. On another note I am so excited to see your journey at Emerson and hope it's amazing because it is one of my top schools

I am so happy that my university is in my city because I get to stay at home with all of my book babies and I don't need to struggle with which ones I'm taking and which one's I'd have to part with, for a short time :3 My book babies
I am half-way through Every Last Breath and OH MY GOD it is so good! Exciting, emotional, funny and just everything you would expect from the last book in a trilogy. It is on the way of becoming my favorite JLA book, which is something big because I LOVE all JLA books!!!

I just started a semester at Chestnut Hill College in Philly. Brought two books with me from back home in Denmark - I plan on buying loads over here! ALSO, my college also has a quidditch team and a huge HP weekend in October!

I decided not to bring a lot of books with me to college, as my school is a train ride away from home. However, I am bringing Throne of Glass because you convinced me to start that series!
My family and i visited Emerson this summer! Your lucky, there is a Barnes and Noble right next to the building!

Sasha! I'm an Emerson Student and I have to say- the dorm rooms are way too small for all of this!! Would recommend cutting down! Best luck in orientation- have fun and remember to try out new things and be a joiner!

I just thought I would let you know that yesterday I picked up Outlander specifically because you talk about it so much! I'll probably love it but just in case I don't its okay because I got it for like 2$! And its in pretty good condition too. I'm really excited to read it :)

I just moved into my dorm room today. and I brought substantially less booms than you're bringing. I am bringing my favorite book On Dublin Street by Samantha Young, then some of my tbr paperbacks Amber to Ashes, Flawed, Leaving Amarillo, Echoes of Scotland Street, Going too Far and Where Things Come Back. for a grand total of 7 books.
