How upset they got over a photo of a corpse is more shocking than the actual photo considering the group advocates death worship. Didn't Øystein call Varg to play bass for MayheM because Necrobutcher left? if Euronymous was willing to reluctantly replace Manheim why shouldn't he be as reluctantly willing to replace Necrobutcher? They all are just as willing, not as reluctantly, to replace Øystein. Euronymous probably should have ended MayheM after Manheim left but MayheM& whatever he had envisioned related to it obviously meant more to him then finishing school or stroking the egos of musicians other than himself. If the police really wanted to get rid of Varg as a "problem" they would have executed him or gave him a life sentence instead of keeping him around to create another or stronger network, necrobutcher mixed up who they wanted to actually get rid of. He is one of the best bass players but like a lot of people he's not a great liar.
