"I swear you don't have to use a grader" lmaoooo, you LITERALLY need to use a grader, otherwise its like putting sand straight up in your hair and it's impossible to rinse off. If you make it into a powder first and then dilute in hot water works a thousand times better. Take it from an ex lush employee who used this henna multiple times. I use it perfectly fine without grating it. It takes a bit longer to smelt/dissolve, but that is time (and effort!) I would have to put into grating otherwise (I tried grating before and decided that method was not for me). If it is too sandy, I feel not enough water was used to dissolve it. So I would suggest to people to try both options and see what you prefer.

@@chelseygarrett4221 Curly girl here: It's no problem. After you wash most of the henna out, grab a thick, CG-approved conditioner and work through the hair. You'll need a lot of it, but eventually you'll get a good slip and then you'll know that you're done. Then wash it out and add products as needed. I've used Maui Moisture Smoothie and had great results. Just don't freak out when you have to use handfuls of the stuff. LOL. Henna can work really well with curly hair--it will actually help hold in the moisture in the long run.
Hi there, Chelsey! Our henna has shine-enhancing and conditioning properties. If you find that you hair is particularly dry, following up with your favorite conditioner after washing the henna out would also help! 😊
As an Indian I must say it's not natural henna, Natural henna is more nature green in color and in powdered form 😊 And Indian women apply it on their head to get red colored smooth shiny hair... For best results we mix the powder in water in any iron container 🌱
It is natural henna it's justed mixed with other things like indigo and cocoa butter which gives it different shades and makes it into the block. The cocoa butter is used because it is super moisturizing.
Tips for people who wanna use henna (Not this garbage henna but the ones you can get at Southeast Asian stores and Middle Eastern stores) Add warm water in your henna along with 1tbsp of lemon juice, ginger juice, mustard oil, Fenugreek powder, 1-2 egg whites and leave it for 1 hr then apply thoroughly in your hair. Wash after keeping it on your hair for 1-2hrs depending on your time availability. I do not suggest mustard oil for people with oily skin. I have added plain yoghurt too sometimes. All these addition helps with dandruff, gives shine, makes your root strong, makes hair smooth and helps with growth. Ps. This has been used for generations in my community and it’s awesome.
And calculate a few hours to clean your kitchen and bathroom and buy yourself a new cutting board. I have been using henna (powder) for years and was surprised how much more expensive, difficult, frustrating and messy this was. Back to powder now and adding 'all the good stuff' in myself.
Omg, I wish I read this before buying. I was applying it in the bathroom, and I realiseed it would be better to apply the lush henna literally in the shower Instead. Lots of bits kept falling out even though I had mixed it up into a smooth paste 🤣
For those wondering: I have naturally light brown/dark blonde hair and I use the Lush henna hair dye on my hair. I use a mix of rouge and marron to obtain a rich, natural, not so bright red hair. I have really fine hair so I use about 1 1/2 blocks of the rouge and then add 1/2 a block of marron 🤗✨
I have used the rouge henna for 2 years now and yes it started out startlingly pumpkin orange (had white/grey hair) it's now the most incredible auburn colour. Have had strangers actually stop me in the street and say what a fab colour.
I used the Rouge one, I was a bit confused about how long i should leave it so i lefy it 4 hours. I ended up with a bright orange (nit what i expected but i liked it). For about 2 weeks my hair smelt like boiled vegetable, especially when wet and i hated that. The color would also run everytime i would wash it. But eventually i got this nice red color and it stayed like that for a long time. Great thing is that it faded but there never really was a huge mark when my hair grew back. I noticed it in some pictures when my hair was in a pony tail, about 9 months after i had died it. It was a great color, but the process was super messy. I had to use the whole thing, and it took me forever to apply it, and good thing i covered the floor with cardboard and newspaper, and that the walls were covered in tiles that i immediately wiped. Also, when in the hair it gets super messy and tangled.

I was debating on henna for years until I bit the bullet and did it for the first time 5 years ago. I should have read more in depth- it SUCKED on boxed-colored hair, the roots were never the same color, no matter what color I used, and it was an all around mess on my head. Cut it away, started new, but eventually, I was bad and started using box dye again. Cut to last year, I got to work from home and went a little...nuts. Bleach, box, bleach, box, hair falling out. Shaved it off. Colored for the first time last August when I had enough hair with Lush henna and oh my GOD, so much better this time around, and now it's all I'll use forever more. Lush, you've saved my hair and my sanity. I love this stuff and will never box dye again. So lesson learned, kiddos- DON'T dye over box dye with this, because your roots will NEVER match. This is best for people who 1. Have virgin hair and 2. Don't like to change that much. It does only come in 3 colors (I don't count the straight brown, that's more of a block conditioner, honestly) and depending on your hair, you'll get bright orange, rusty orange, fire red, deep red, and dark, rich chocolate brown. My roots are mostly gray and when I dye it with Noir, they come out very light brown, almost blonde.
Henna is very common in Libya We mix the grounded henna with diffrent things like red tea, blended beetroot water, pomegranate water and many other diffrent things to get different colors
I wanna say because of lush I grew my hair back from trictillomania henna made my hair grew faster stronger and roots made my huge bauld spots grow back under 4 months thank you lush from anywhere my opion on henna i love it I probably went though 5 bricks under 6 months
It's so difficult to decide because you don't know how it turns out. I wish there were pictures of before and after with many different hair types so you could at least imagine what it'll look like
I used the noir henna last week for the first time. It's dead winter and it was difficult to melt and apply, it would cool down too quickly even with a pot of hot water underneath. Also because it dries so quickly you can't comb it through. I tried to comb it and it crumbled into a mess. I liked the end result, it wasn't as hard to wash out and it didn't stain my shower like boxed due would. My hair is thin and curly and the henna did make it feel thicker and straighter, at first I didn't think it covered my grays but the next day they were barely visible. It doesn't leave your hair shinny but kind of mate.
I love this and learn to make a double broiler with a crockpot so it would stay warm. And if I needed to add water, the water from the crockpot pot was the perfect temperature.
Don’t use this if you ever want to bleach your hair. I used the Brun and then wanted to go blonde two months after, (so I didn’t have a lot of growth) I did a test section to see how the bleach would react and it made my hair super brittle and break off. I had never died my hair prior to henna and I went to a professional salon. The people working at lush never told me anything about how you can’t bleach your hair after using it. There is also no way to remove it from your hair once it is died.
Sophia Steve yes they say do not use bleach on henna thats NOT 100% henna. I use 100% henna (red henna is 100% aka caca rouge) it has no metallic salts. I did a bleach bath to lighten my henna and had no problem at all. Apart from the fact my back got chemical burn... but my hair turned out great :)
Yeah, mix bleach and indigo and you get melted hair. Try straight henna powder. I recommend Rainbow henna because they guarantee no indigo in the original red.
If you’re considering this just keep in mind that it will only fade naturally, hot oil treatments will help but you can’t bleach henna colored out. I had mostly virgin full length hair and my ends had leftover blue black henna and no amount of bleaching would make it go away (I tried twice and toned after to keep my hair healthy)
hi there! I'm actually a lush employee, hasn't been for very long, so I'm watching all the "deep dives" right now to learn some tips and tricks. and I have a bunch of ideas for a new video. for example, I would definitely love to hear about new naked skincare products - facial cleansers and oils. also, about soaps (cold pressed ones, some stories, inspirations, little bit about cheese shapes and those tubes we make some of them in), massage bars (inspiration, aromatherapy), and maybe a little bit more in-depth video about hair treatments (cause they are all so different and amazing). thank you for this video, it helped me for sure!!
I have mostly grey hair, salt and pepper but mostly salt (perhaps 80% grey). The Rouge left me with a natural red head look, probably because how grey my hair is naturally.
Henna does not loop arount the hair. It bonds to the keratin of the hair. Thats also why its so hard to remove. I freaking love the result caca rouge gives me though. Its amazing.
Because it coats the hair it wouldn't do much!! If you use the noir (black) it will give it slightly navy blue undertones in the sunlight. If you use rouge itll give a red/orange undertone! Hope this helps xx
Hi, love! When it comes to using henna, the color will coat the strand and not penetrate it, in other words, henna tints your hair but there won't be a drastic difference. Hope this helps, hun!
I always compare it to staining vs. Painting a piece of wood. Traditional hair dyes is like paint. Changing any color to any other color, covering the original color. Henna is like staining. It used the natural hair color as a base and stains it with natural loss and highs keeping the dimension. Unfortunately you cant go lighter with henna.
So, I never dyed my hair before. I'm 27, with medium length hair, dull dark brown. On a day off I decided to give this a shot. (New to hair care).... The product actually works. Keep in mind I did not wash my hair for 3 days prior, and left the henna in for 6 hours. The brick was good for 3 hair dyes/treatments. The whole month at work I received compliments that my hair looked shiny. I used the Coco Maron. It will definitely give your hair a natural red hue. If anyone is going to try this product reply down below. There is some things you should no first to extend the henna brick and get better results.
I am giving it a try today. I will leave it 3 to 4 hours and let u know what is rhe difference between 1 pound box henna and lush henna. I have been using 1 pound henna whole life and wanted to try lush. I must also admit that the lush henna smell is lovely and amazing.
Tip for everyone useing henna blocks. I use two chunks for my over the shoulder length hair (use more if it's your first time for even coverage) I chop the chunks into four each add boiling water and let sit for 5 mins then i uses an old electric hand mix to help mix my henna batter and break up the chunks quicker.
Even crunchy vegan health food stores sell it cheaper. Wish I had done a bit more research before I impulse bought this one last week. I'm gonna go ahead and use what I bought but if I decide to keep it up there's plenty of other brands I'm going to look for first

i just bought the maroon henna hair dye block. it was so expensive (i bought it in qatar, it’s 120qar which is like $35 USD). honestly, so expensive for the size of the block 💀 but i’m excited to try it out tho
I’m kind of disappointed in my recent lush henna job. So I used to use Marron 2 years ago and I did it about 3 or 4 times until last year April I decided to stop dying my hair for a while. Then recently I wanted to Noir but I had my old henna still in my hair which made half of my head brown (my natural colour) and half red. So after watching this video she mentioned using Rouge first to get an even toned base for the darker colours..... I’m literally so upset with the outcome. I used Rouge 2 days ago and Noir yesterday and my hair is now DARK GINGER, the furthest thing from dark brown or blackish which is what I wanted. I did so much research on what’s the best way to achieve a deep dark colour but instead I’m now dark ginger and I have no idea what to do, and if I knew this would of happened I would of scarped the Rouge altogether but I hoped it would even out my hair colour. I used to love lush henna but now I don’t think I’ll ever be purchasing it again as the information in this video literally meant nothing regarding the results I saw. Instead of the rouge toning my hair it was so strong that underneath Noir it’s still ginger, not even red but like ORANGE. Can’t even describe how upset I am.
Please please please mention to your hair dresser if you go to a salon and you’ve hennad your hair before. Even though it’s natura it will cause a metallic wall reaction and melt your hair strands.
EYEoftheneedle thank you, actually i have long harir since age 6 and still keep them long and I am over 30 now. Used henna a few times as my mom did it for me to make then stronger when I was a teenager. I have never considered changing my hair colour or any chemical changes but if what you say is true I will not be entitled to do anything like this for at least few years?! Have you experienced somebody going bald because of using chemicals on henna died hair?!
I love how this is franchised in US as a cool environment friendly thing while in my country villagers use henna to dye their hair red which is actually something that is quite mocked because it is so obvious that it is henna. Idk it is just looked down upon and sold like everywhere for a dollar or so...
I've tried and tried using henna from Lush but found powder online for a fraction of the price much cheaper and not a massive pain. Lush I love you but it's a messy nightmare. I've found you need to grate it for easy mixing with hot water, which is long and 1000x more difficult than grating cheese. Once heated up and application time comes you must now battle with getting it onto your head, the consistency is like thin mud, then you need to keep it hot or it becomes mud flakes. The mud doesn't smooth on and flicks all over the bathroom... 3hrs minimum on your head. While this is happening you have henna dribbling down your neck and forehead from all the bits that have got warm, got runny and escaped your fashionable cling film wrapped alien head. So you can't 'do chores' etc while it's on your head as you need to be constantly monitoring the dribble situation. Meanwhile up top you now have crusty drying mud. So 3+hrs later rinse out time, best to put some sort of strainer over the plughole as the henna mud likes to block as I found out once the hard way. The hair does feel much much healthier afterwards but don't expect any dramatic colour change until the third go. After all the above the most frustrating thing I find is the leaflet that comes with it is absolutely useless. Pros, the store local to me sells for £10 a block which will dye my shoulder length hair 3 times. All in all there are better more traditional hennas available online or failing that I've now switched to Holland & Barret dyes as they are vegan and cruelty free.
I have black hair with a Lot of grey and did a henna treatment and my hair went brown, but my grey went a type of light blond. So it was a hint of brown with blond 🤦🏾♀️. I knew that grey will look like highlights but not what I wanted. This time I 2 samples of Noir and brun and I want to mix them and make a nice deep rich colour. So I still have to use the more red tones first? I have a patch test of brun and noir mixed on my hair.
Something the website mentions, but you don't mention here, is mixing pieces of different bricks for different colours. For example: I am a bleached platinum and want to go copper ginger, not pumpkin ginger. So I think I'd add marron to rouge, but I'm not sure in what ratio.
I am having black hair, I only want to make my hair healthy and moisturized, so which color should I pick and also does this help that way? I have no problem with red or maroon henna but i need a professional advice from Erica😊
Where I’m from you can get a whole box for $2 (6 packs inside) & they’re powdered form which is so much easier because henna is very messy. Having it in block form make it even tougher to deal with, henna is a natural product so it’s good for ur hair already. Try purchasing from your towns Little India instead 😊
Thanks so much for this video! The tea brick history is vert interesting! I've been using Lush henna for years. I let it grow out and have been using chemical dyes but, am never happy with the colour results (unpredictable) and can not stop worrying about what the chemicals do to my hair and body. I'm going back to henna. Really appreciated the tips about airation and layering the colour. Questions: 1) can you mix with conditioner to apply? I know it's made in coconut oil but I still find the henna dry when applying. 2) do metal bowls affect the colour? Thank you 😍
Can you use this Henna on already permanently dyed hair? My hair has been dyed black with a professional color and I have dark blonde roots. I want to do root touch ups myself with a more natural dye because my skin is sensitive to most conventional dyes.
Well I'm one for using henna I think it's excellent especially for ppl that are allergic to dyes and I'm one of them ppl so I tried Reshma and I love it you have to experiment on different colors to get the color u really want meaning I wanted a burgundy but the red was a little orangey red so mixed black in it and it came out perfect I love me some Henna !!!
Can I do this over my treated hair? I want to start going natural and not so much processing. I have light brown with highlights and lots of grey. Your video is great how you give us details of everything. Thanks!! Btw, I would like the chestnut with a little of the brown for my first time.
Hi Sofia, Our henna blocks are fabulous natural alternatives to chemical hair dye.Your henna will start to naturally fade in about 4 weeks, however as everyone's hair can be so different the fading may be different for each person. 💛
if you use pure henna ( i have never tried lush i just make my own henna batter) It NEVER fades. I have been doing henna for my hair for 10 years and i only ever touch up my roots. My hair is always a bright, vibrant and natural red.
I've used the Rouge (Red) brick for a couple of times now and I would like to know how I can get a deeper, wine red rather than the red/orange that I usually get when I dye my hair. I find that age and multiple applications had helped, but it's not quite there yet. Other than that, I love the product and I often get compliments on it :D I don't mind the smell, but you can lessen it if you use fruit tea infused water when boiling the henna. My hair is naturally a light brown if that helps :)
Hi there! Wrapping your hair in cling film or a shower cap and keeping it warm will give redder results. Alternatively, leaving hair unwrapped creates darker shades. You can also look into mixing Rouge with a little bit of Noir or Brun to see if you can achieve the color you are looking to get! 😉
@@LUSH I've tried wrapping in both cling film and a shower cap, but maybe ill try leaving it unwrapped :) thanks for the tip. I would love it if you could create a tutorial on different techniques to get different results (with photo results of course :P)
Use pure henne powder, black tea and some lemon juice and mix it together to a thick pancakey batter. (the acid helps the color to release) Leave it to oxidice untill the batter is Brown. (then the color is released). Apply to Your Whole hair (or Your roots if you have already the henna color you want) pack Your hair in plastic foil and keep it on overnight. Works great!! I have been doing this for 10 years and it gives a beautiful Natural red color. And DON'T DON'T use shampooo and contitioner for at least 2 days after you rinse the henna out (just rinse With water) using shampoo and conditioner removes alot of the color! (the color keeps developing for days after Your session, it just gets deeper and more bautiful so dont sabotage it With shampoo like this lady recomends) good luck

I've heard that it gives dark hair a bit of a sheen. Like, if you'd use Rouge, your hair would still look very dark, but with a reddish undertone that would be visible in the sunlight

Hello! I have a medium-dark brown natural hair colour. If i use caca rouge will it become darker? Because it want it just to make my hair more reddish and ginger especially in the sun. But not dark
Friendly reminder from a hairdresser- it is impossible to get henna out of your hair. You cannot bleach it out. So if you do this, you can’t change your hair until it grows out. Just make sure this is REALLY what you want before you do it.
Can you use this on bleached hair? Like my hair is light full head of bleached hair with some medium brown roots coming in. I wanna use Brun but some videos say it goes either bright red or green?! How do I get my hair from bleached blonde to medium brown????
Hi there, love! You can use henna over top of bleached hair. However, once you color your hair with henna, you won't be able to use chemical dyes or chemical processes on top! Brun uses a combination of both henna and indigo and since you would be coloring over blonde hair, the indigo may cause the hair to have a bit of a green-ish tinge. If you wanted to try using henna, we would recommend using a more red henna, like Rouge, first before following up with Brun and we always recommend doing a strand test before applying the full treatment. The results you achieve from henna can vary depending on your individual hair, so it's always best to do a strand test first. 😊
Hi! I have black hair with strong brown undertones. It looks very brown in sunlight. I want my hair to be brown. Will Marron be the right fit for me or is it rouge? Also: I have never applied any hair colour before
When she says brick I think she’s referring to the individual break apart pieces. There are 6 bricks to a block. I have thick long hair and used 2 bricks. I think 3 bricks would have been better. At any rate I don’t think you’d need more than one block.
Actually whenever putting dye in your hair start from the tip and do the root later because the root is virgin hair which process quicker than the tips of your hair.
When you use the Noir shade should you wrap your hair in plastic after application or leave it exposed to the air? She mentioned that the indigo needs oxygen.
Wish we could see the bricks on different hair colors and what they look like

Did my first henna dye with Marron at the weekend and I just love it. My boss even complimented me on the colour today!
Here's a tip I found out on my own; you actually can over-cook it and that will ruin the henna.
Thanks, that helped me a lot!
Over-cook ? Explain that...
Only using hot water ruins henna. Go for baq henna if you want to have the full effect.
Where's all my Arab, African and Asian sisters that have been doing this for thousands of years❤
Not on this video- because we know this lush stuff is trash ❤
...Aren’t you probably like 22 or something. Nobody in this comment section has been doing it for thousands of years lol
Not only sisters but brothers as well. My dad still uses this as a dye.😄😄😄
adee ha and African...
Hey don’t forget us Africans !! Lol we also use this as well 💕💕💕
In henna we stand ! Lol
Girl I am Egyptian we have been doing this for the last 8 thousand years
Moon Mm well I’m Egyptian too soo 🙏
ايه ده دا الدنيا ديقه يا جدع 😂
Tips for people who wanna use henna (Not this garbage henna but the ones you can get at Southeast Asian stores and Middle Eastern stores)
Add warm water in your henna along with 1tbsp of lemon juice, ginger juice, mustard oil, Fenugreek powder, 1-2 egg whites and leave it for 1 hr then apply thoroughly in your hair.
I want Erica to sit in my living room and gently explain the world to me. I feel so informed.
I have used the rouge henna for 2 years now and yes it started out startlingly pumpkin orange (had white/grey hair) it's now the most incredible auburn colour. Have had strangers actually stop me in the street and say what a fab colour.
How long to go from orange to auburn?
@@hippybecca 5 to 6 applications
I’m really interested in layering the colours and the results of it. I need to see a demo
Pls make a how it’s made video for it. Thx!
Hey love, that is a great suggestion. We will make sure to pass it along. 🧡
Soooo you went back 1000 years ago but you didn't mention the ACTUAL heritage of Henna.....so just ignore India.....hum.....🤔
@@user-lg3yj2fz2j Many people don't. And people do care. Bye.
@@Stefan-hf6xb It actually is very personal especially since she went back into Lush history....she made it personal. It just would've been something good ethnically and educational to mention.

@@acrumpledmemo Literally people do care. I care, people that liked my comment care, people that commented that they care care as well. Let's be clear, YOU just don't care. Don't confuse the two.
Jesyca Thomas i totally get where you are coming from. I do think they should have talked about the history of it a little and where it came from.
What inspired them and how Mark came to find it. And why he was so into it.
And most definitely where they get the ingredients and the ethical ways they harvest it and help the people of that region.
"Caca brun" literally means "Brown poop" in French like... Wtf Lush
Exactement
scarmander sounds like it in Spanish too

I know right I was wondering why they would name it that

I’m here for the same reason .. I hope it works
It literally says *CACA* on it 🤣
Brooo shut up so funny
Henna cured my scalp psoriasis, I can't recommend it enough!
I’d love to see the henna on a hair model next time! Maybe even on different hair colors (ie. rouge henna on blonde, brunette, red head )
Caca rouge meaning red poop in French
She’s giving me grade 3 teacher vibes and I’m loving it
I have dark brown / black hair. If I use the brown hair dye will it make my hair a little bit lighter or would it so nothing since my hair is dark?
Its not only hair dye. You can melt it and put it in a piping bag and make designs on nails, hands, arms and feet.
Erica, you explain things so well! I swear you have talked me into so many new and amazing products 💕😊👌

i love lush but jesus y’all hate to mention india huh
Ikr it’s like why not mention it’s history?? That would’ve been so interesting!
And they did not mention Africa or Middle East.
I was wanting to see a demo or a before and after on different hair colors and types.
BTW I have thin hair so those more blessed with a gorgeous head of hair will definitely need more then two cubes of it maybe the full block
From a fellow french, it’s written « caca brun » on it and it means « brown poop », made me giggle 😂
Yall just go to an Indian store and buy it for 10x cheaper, you’re getting ripped off.
Even crunchy vegan health food stores sell it cheaper. Wish I had done a bit more research before I impulse bought this one last week. I'm gonna go ahead and use what I bought but if I decide to keep it up there's plenty of other brands I'm going to look for first
yeah and sell it with harsh chemicals too...
I've been using the murron on my light blond hair and I love the color! It's very orange/red/brown. I might try the layering because I want more of a rich color

Noted! 😘
i just bought the maroon henna hair dye block. it was so expensive (i bought it in qatar, it’s 120qar which is like $35 USD). honestly, so expensive for the size of the block 💀 but i’m excited to try it out tho
Arden Berkely what?
EYEoftheneedle thank you, actually i have long harir since age 6 and still keep them long and I am over 30 now. Used henna a few times as my mom did it for me to make then stronger when I was a teenager. I have never considered changing my hair colour or any chemical changes but if what you say is true I will not be entitled to do anything like this for at least few years?! Have you experienced somebody going bald because of using chemicals on henna died hair?!

I ordered the marron henna brick a few days ago and just waiting for it to be delivered today 🤗 im SOOOO excited to try this!!!
"caca brun" means "Brown poop" in french. You're welcome
I mean caca is poop in spanish too 😂
I love how this is franchised in US as a cool environment friendly thing while in my country villagers use henna to dye their hair red which is actually something that is quite mocked because it is so obvious that it is henna. Idk it is just looked down upon and sold like everywhere for a dollar or so...
I didn’t know lush didn’t exist a couple thousand years ago. I guess we do learn something new everyday.
Im wondering if i can do this monthly so the roots will stay same color as the rest of the hair .
What about after growth of the hair roots? Do you dye only the roots or the whole hair? Please answer me. 🙏
Thanks!! Btw, I would like the chestnut with a little of the brown for my first time.
hi i'm thinking of buying henna for my hair and this video has helped me so much, although i wonder how long the henna will last in your hair?
Hi Sofia, Our henna blocks are fabulous natural alternatives to chemical hair dye.Your henna will start to naturally fade in about 4 weeks, however as everyone's hair can be so different the fading may be different for each person. 💛
@@LUSH alright, thank you so much!💕
if you use pure henna ( i have never tried lush i just make my own henna batter) It NEVER fades. I have been doing henna for my hair for 10 years and i only ever touch up my roots. My hair is always a bright, vibrant and natural red.
@@martinelifjeld2530 oh wow! yeah well that's worth trying!
@@Sofia-iz5rv its also cheaper to get real henna powder than this brick. Much easier to use too.
If you want to get a deeper color with Brun, specially where the grey hairs are, can you still use the red underneath? Or is that just for the black?
@@martinelifjeld2530 that sounds like a good idea! I did notice that shampoo and conditioner did remove some of the colour, but ill try with just water this time :D

How does it each color look on dark hair? I always do noir, but I'm curious about the lighter ones
I've heard that it gives dark hair a bit of a sheen. Like, if you'd use Rouge, your hair would still look very dark, but with a reddish undertone that would be visible in the sunlight

I used to get loose henna sent from tunisia when i was young. It gave my red hair a flame like glow
Does it work well with gray hair?
My grays are really stubborn..

Hi! I have black hair with strong brown undertones. It looks very brown in sunlight. I want my hair to be brown. Will Marron be the right fit for me or is it rouge? Also: I have never applied any hair colour before
If I have really thick hair, is it possible I’ll require more than one brick? Or is it generously sized?
When she says brick I think she’s referring to the individual break apart pieces. There are 6 bricks to a block. I have thick long hair and used 2 bricks. I think 3 bricks would have been better. At any rate I don’t think you’d need more than one block.
Does it cover gray hair?
I want to try this because I love the fact that it's all-natural, but I'm scared I'll mess up my hair cause I've never used henna before. >.
I can't decide on color. Is brun a dark brown?
Actually whenever putting dye in your hair start from the tip and do the root later because the root is virgin hair which process quicker than the tips of your hair.
Guuuuysss henna originated almost everywhere around the world not just India
My hair is black but I want to dye it to a REALLY light brown, which one do you recommend I buy?
When you use the Noir shade should you wrap your hair in plastic after application or leave it exposed to the air? She mentioned that the indigo needs oxygen.
