I love that you see the creative genius of Ren's mind, he is truly one of a kind. His background with production, his lyric writing, his musical creation, etc is mind-blowing all under the blanket of his continuous struggle with his auto-immune condition. He has been undergoing stem-cell transplant treatment for years now, and is on-going probably for the remainder of his life, but, still Ren manages to wow with his creative projects. If you continue to explore, will be truly rewarding for you and for all of us!❤
This is RENs own genre called by some ‘Bardcore’ but he crosses all genres in his music from rock, rap, punk, soul, funk, reggae, indie, ballad, country. He is predominantly a rap artist though, who’s lyricism is GOAT tier.
When you know his personal story it just brings home how special he is and I think we are witnessing an artist of this generation.

Easy to describe Ren. He is 'one of one' and master of everything. He is a creative genius and talent that reaches the sun. There is so much of what he can do that we have not yet experienced seen and heard, but would not be surprised to whatever comes next. We are ready for it. We just keep praying for his health to stabilize and keep him strong, mentally and physically.
Oh, since you're studying psychology, you might enjoy 'Screech's Tale Instagram Stories' that Ren has up on his youtube. It's a compilation of shorts he made of Screech's friends, background, and the events leading up to the night he meets Jenny. It's not a music video. It's a short film. Also, yes, you said your life has changed. That is universal for Renegades. There's life before Ren and life after discovering Ren. Welcome. I have seen a few of your reactions but you seemed surprised that he raps. He's a master. I cannot WAIT for you to discover everything this man can do. Subbed and ready!

This is one of my favourite Ren creations. But you'll discover that he doesn't only do heavy material. He's a virtuoso at cheeky, quick-witted, light-hearted bangers, too.

I knew it by the time he said "two twins side by side" as well. 😁
As for Ren coming up with this, it actually took a while. This are 3 separate songs released with some time between them, and Ren kept adding to the story. There's actually an interval of only months between Screech's tale and Violet's tale, so he might have known where he was heading with it then. But Jenny's tale precedes the others by a couple of years. Ren was inspired to write it after reading a newspaper article that told of a "street walker" stabbed to death, with the sentence "it's such a shame" being mentioned.
I think after that Ren got back to with because he himself wanted to explore who this people were, including the killer, or specially him.
Ren has a 360° video of him performing the 3 parts out on the street in front of a live audience, I'd highly recommend it, it's a fantastic performance and Interaction with the crowd.

I've watched approximately a billion reactions to this, and you're the first one, aside from a therapist who admits she reads the lyrics ahead of time to prepare her commentary, who immediately got the generational similarities between Jenny and Screech and their parents. Something it took me a long time to realize is that it's mentioned in Jenny's Tale that Screech is 14, which of course means Jenny is too, and details are given that she's walked the same street many times, it's nighttime, and she's in high-heeled shoes. Ended up a prostitute at 14.😪And I actually have a BA in Psychology, albeit from 20 years ago, lol, and I've never gotten to really use it bc chronic illness is a bitch.
Many great suggestions have already been made, but to really make yourself happy, Power is amazing, you really get to see him having fun. There's a bit of darkness in it, bc he's been through so much of it, but the song overall is fun as hell, and inspiring in many ways.

I've seen quite a lot of reactors get the generational trauma aspect. The majority don't, it's true, at least not immediately but I've seen plenty who did get it. :)

Another great collection of his is the Money Game trilogy. Those could be done separately or together, just make sure you do the lyric version of part 2 (that's the full version). Those are all slightly different with a connecting theme of greed and politics, and part 3 is like a short film masterpiece. He has a ton of amazing rap songs also.
I always recommend that reactors do both versions of MG2. There definitely isn't a 'wrong' version, as many seem to imply. With the lyric video you get the extra verse but the live version is superior in every other aspect, imho. Firstly, it's Ren live, which is always great! The poetry really stands out more in the live version and his vocals, at the end! Just sublime! :)

Generational trauma that is being shown here by Ren in such a way that you can relate ( understand ) is mind blowing. Jenny had character trades of her mother and screech had his dad character.....hurt people hurt other people.

Ok, your reaction was perfect. Everything a Renegade could want. Love it!! The Money Game trilogy is a must. For them you don't have to do them all together though, it's up to you. Money Game 3 is a level up, they had some money for that one (still a budget though, compared to mainstream stars) and has won multiple video awards. We're here for you!
Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special.

Nice reaction, you nailed that. Also Stevie and Screech both triggered to violence by the freeze response they encountered. There is a foreshadowing in the way Ren makes the word "dance" end like the hissing of a snake, before he knocks on Violet's bedroom door.

Before I comment I want you to know my daughter went to school with Ren so I’ve been following him for a long time. In my humble opinion he is a musical genius. He’s a multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, rapper etc etc and to top it all he is an independent artist. The deeper you go down the Ren rabbit hole the more you’ll get blown away. Watch out for his band The Big Push, collaborations with Bibi, Eden Nash, Chinchilla and more. Your reaction to the trilogy was a joy to watch, I felt I was watching it for the first time again. However you spotted the twist at the end which I didn’t, it knocked me sideways. If you want to hear a lighter, funnier side of him I recommend “Uninvited”. Keep them coming from Rich in North Wales 🏴 UK 🇬🇧

It’s on his UA-cam playlist tab under “troubles” the song troubles is a summary of that story and would make for a great react and there are songs at the end of some of the chapters you’ll want to skip over for reacts later. The chapters is something you really gotta listen to. Trust me. Just listen when you have a few min, it’s an incredible story that will give you so much insight into reactions and will help you relate and understand. I’ll link it for you.

Many of RENs songs cover very heavy topics like money game is a masterpiece (1 music vid/2 lyric vid/3 theatrical) all about Greed! The tales about generational trauma. Sic Boi about his misdiagnosis and greed in medical industry. There is always a deeper message to take away generally for the good of humanity not personal agenda.
