I’m getting my orange the week... I’m old school I guess. I don’t care if she’s slightly noisy. I care that she’s reliable. Plus he complains can’t hear, but he’s the one that the door stays closed when you work... 🙄
JAMES, I'VE HAD BOBCAT BRAND FOR YEARS. OWNED SKID STEERS FOR 50 YEARS NOW IN MY LANDSCAPE BUSINESS. 2014 BOBCAT S650 WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT FROM MY S250. A LOT OF PERFORMANCE ISSUES. FIRST BOBCAT I WASN'T HAPPY WITH. I'VE HAD MANY BRANDS TO COMPARE TO. THE KUBOTA IS A SOUND MACHINE BUT AT LEAST 2 GENERATIONS BEHIND THE INDUSTRY. CREATURE COMFORTS ARE MINIMAL OTHER THAN THE OVERHEAD DOOR AND THE CAB ROOM WHICH IS GREAT. EASE OF SERVICE IS ALSO OUTSTANDING IN KUBOTA WHEELED MACHINE. BUT HONESTLY...IT IS DANGEROUSLY NOISY IN MY OPINION. READ MY 2 CENTS WORTH ABOVE. OF COARSE THE GUY IN THE VIDEO APPARENTLY SELL BOBCATS SO HE'LL TRY TO INFLUENCE EVERYONE. I COULD CARE LESS WHAT MACHINE ANYONE BUYS. I'M JUST STATING FACTS I KNOW TO BE TRUE. HOPE IT HELPS YOU EVEN THOUGH I JUST SAW THIS AND I'M A YEAR BEHIND. GOOD LUCK
B Harris The Kubota is loud and the ride is terrible. You know this B Harris! Let’s not even get into the awful AC system. I understand that sometimes the truth hurts but you will be ok. Thanks for watching.
Griffin Welborn I’ve been selling the #1 brand of compact equipment since April of 2004. The truth is Bobcat is the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be.
As far as safety is concerned, an overhead door gives a an easier way out if your bucket isn’t all the way down for some reason. So I disagree with that statement. I’ve never owned either one but am shopping. 3 things about the Kubota appeal to me. The overhead door, the simplicity and the price is another huge one. The only thing I don’t like is the noice but some 75 cent earplugs can help with that. The bobcat appeals to me with its quiet ride and unless things changed, I like how the engine airflow exits over the tracks instead of sucks in over the tracks like all the others which sends dirt and dust all in your engine bay. The big stopper for me is the price. I’m on a budget and the Kubota would be a few hundred dollars a month cheaper. Plus I can load and unload stuff off my flatbed that are chained to my bucket by myself. Since bobcats doors open outward, I’d have to have someone on the outside hooking and unhooking my chains. This is huge for Kubota as I’m usually a one man operation.
John Stegall Awesome! I hope the door will not rattle and the ac will actually cool in the summer for you. Don’t forget about those jerky hydraulic controls. Maybe you don’t work close to foundations or footings. See you soon!
@@freddieblanton All the fleets around here are changing to the SVL series. That door design is the primary reason we went with one. I want an enclosed cab that i can operate with the window up to speak with my crew. Other brands would be smart to follow suit
@@jakerawls4727 I can see where the door can come in handy at times. The Bobcat door is easily removed and i think you have better protection from dust and a better cooling package on our unit. Thanks for your feedback.
@@freddieblanton if I wanted a machine with joystick controls it would be a Kubota all the way, there pilot system is how it should be done and the door is a great idea and it is very handy. However i do believe the bobcats have a bit more power about them but I would only buy one in hand and foot controls. The cooling system on the bobcat is definately better in dusty conditions. The Kubota a/c is a terrible design but equally so is the bobcat. The bobcat cabin is definately quiter and better sealed. They are both great machines in different ways
I have been renting different track brands over the last few months to see what I want to buy. Just returned the kubota. I really enjoyed the machine. Kubota did a good job. However I think there’s a reason he didn’t bring out a CAT... definitely the best I’ve used so far.
He respondede to bad mouth my Kubota slv90-2 but ignored the fact it sat at dealer for three weeks with no results had to pick it up and take to individual repair shop. Piss poor comparison the Kubota is much stonger has a hi flo of 40GPM his BOBCRAP is only 30 Gpm
If the techs that work on the machines are as bad at being mechanics as this dude is bad at being a salesman, I would never buy a bobcat. This video and salesmen make me want to buy a Kubota just purely out of irritation. The bobcat has a Kubota motor in it anyway so why not just buy a couple without because they make great equipment.
bossplaier The Bobcat has a Doosan engine. No DPF and no regeneration. Did I mention in the video how quiet the cab is compared to the Kubota? Our technicians are the best in the business. And me, I sold two machines while you watched my video. Now go make the best business decision in your life and buy a Bobcat. It’s the best value in the industry.
@@freddieblanton so you are saying that a Doosan is a better engine than a Kubota engine that they use in some Bobcats? Dude you know that Kubota makes the best tractors and and bullet proof engines. Your stupid video and poor job of selling a product along with the fact that the Bobcat dealer here can't fix a track let alone a machine made the decision easy and I purchased a new Kubota SVL65 and it is way better than any Bobcat I have ever owned or used. The Kubota is leaps and bounds better and I have only had it a week! As long as Kubota makes skid loaders, people are suckers to buy Bobcat. The only thing you can find to complain about is the noise, because you know the Kubota is a better machine. Thanks for helping me make a good decision and steering me in the direction of the Kubota, best business decision of the year!
Thank God he’s not my salesman. I would have brought a CAT instead. I should have bought the CAT, my bobcat sucks, non stop issues and warranty claims.
I'm not sure where you live but around here Bobcat is still all over job sites. Kubota is new and it will catch your eye on job sites, there is not doubt about it. They have also done a nice job buying market share so you may see a few more but now but just give it time.
WENT FROM AN S650 2014 TO A 2019 KUBOTA SSV75. THE NOISE LEVEL IS NOT A HEALTHY WORK ENVIRONMENT IN THE KUBOTA. I NEVER RAN ANY EQUIPMENT THAT WAS THAT NOISY. THE ENGINE ISN'T THE PROBLEM, IT'S THE HYDRAULIC NOISE THAT'S INSANE. EARS ACTUALLY HURT AFTER OPERATING IT. FOREGET THE RADIO...COULDN'T HEAR IT. THE CONTROLS ARE HYDRAULIC OVER HYDRAULIC AND ARE WAY TOO TOUCHY IF YOU'RE DOING FINESSE TYPE WORK OR WORK ON ROUGH GROUND. YOU WILL BE GOING FOR A RIDE. I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL EXCEPT I DO LIKE THE OVERHEAD DOOR. THAT'S HARD TO BEAT.
I was planning on purchasing a new Bobcat this month. After watching this video I decided to go with the Kubota. Glad I did.
Me too. Seriously.

Thank you. You just convinced me to buy the Kubota.
James Detweiler You are welcome! Enjoy the regen process on the engine, the ac that doesn’t cool and that terrible rattle trap door.
Oh my, my boom is up 6 inches and I can't open my door..LOL.. you could be a little biased
